    made a very big mistake today.

    As you all know my bike is just 100 KM old. hardly 1 week after delivery.

    Today when I started from parking lot i started with 2nd gear(thinking i have put 1st gear) and tried to move the vehicle but it jerked severely it happened 4 times though i not recognized it is in 2nd !!!

    Will it cause serious damage to my bike ??? or Is it ok ??

      @yadav : No worries yamaha engines are virtually bulletproof , nothing should happen to it ...

            Hey guys..been reading some reviews about our beast...what kind of opinion do these people have??They all say the engine is underpowered!!
            Why don't they put these fatass tyres on other 150cc bikes and see how well they fare??It does an INCREDIBLE job for the weight it has to pull and those uber-cool thick tyres,right?

              u r absolutely right friend..Fz is made for city riding,not for high speed spirited riding..90+ will be enough.It is not underpowered & can easily keep up with the pulsars(xcept 220)apaches..only it takes some more time to reach more speed & lacks the pull in higher gear due to the fat tyres.But who cares becoz this tyres are very functional & are produced one of its tubeless kind from any other tyre manufacturer till now.
              SO GUYS STOP WORRYING AND FLAUNT YOUR STYLE..

                Exactly! The fat rear tyre is one of the best thing which attracts most of the people,whatever it may be no bike can be "PERFECT" .

                      Thanks for the quick reply mate,actually when I parked my bike today I saw the fazer and incidentally my eye sight fell on the sprocket and thought that it was somewhat bigger then in the Fz.

                      One more query,
                      I use the engine kill switch infinitely! I mean whenever or wherever I stop my bike first I use the engine kill switch then turn it off with the ignition.And before starting the bike when the self check completes then I turn the ON the kill switch and then drive the bike. So is it aite ?

                        it is perfectly alright. I mean, that is what the engine kill switch is for

                        1. why is it called FZ 16 even though it is only 153cc? (could've said approximation if it was 155cc)
                        2. What do you call the 16 as? sixteen or one-six ?

                          1-It's due to the fact that usually manufacturers try to fix the CC digits in the 150,180,200 sections and not in the odd ones like 122,185 AFAIK,and it might be possible that they can't approximize it with higher value.

                            Yeah true..if we put some thinner tyres the bike would whoop ass in terms of performance..although I would never change them

                              Helooo...

                              Guys wanted some advise....!!!i am planning to buy new fz-s next week...!!But the problem is that my height is short and the most confusing is that i dont know to ride motorbike perfectly..!!but from last 15 days i am riding my friends tvs apache 160cc...i am not perfect in riding bikes...its stops somtimes...becoz never got a bike till now.!!!as though i am also short..my height is 5 foot 1 inch...!!now i am confused that should i buy a new bike or not keeping in mind that i am short and not perfect in riding also..!!but practice makes man perfect...what u think will i get better to ride my fz-s as times goes by..??????????????????????????????
