  • sorry for asking this crazy question.

I thought for Tube-less tyre it is not necessary to fill air. But as I read manual I found we need to check air pressure frequently.

Actually my stupid question is ? Whether we need to take our bike to some other place to check air pressure or at normal petrol bunks ????

no need to take it to svc....

try cleaning them thoroughly with soap water... and check for any scratch
      marks on the disc.

if there are scratch marks it would mean 2 things:
      1. there are debris stuck to the pad.
      2. the pad has worn out and the metal is touching the disc...

if there are scratch marke you will have to take it to the svc....

you can take it to a normal petorl bunk or any mechanic's shop to check for
        the tire pressure

if you have foot pump you can even to do it yourself.
the pressure in the front should be 28psi and in the rear should be 33psi....

FRom the pictures seems like there are no scratches... run your finger along the disc and see if you feel unusual depressions/ scratches... (check for uneven ware and tare along the disc)

Hey I am using this portable Pressure Gauge for checking tyre pressure frequently. It is digital and hence more accurate.
Since it is portable you can carry it in pocket or during touring. It cost 350 INR.

                      • @cscsarkar331 I had the same problem too but i had no idea where it was coming from. took it to the SVC. with a 100m ride the mechanic figured out it was from the front disc and he cleaned it. It was gone after that.

                          • I have some queries,

                            1. When i Use Choke for starting my Cold engine, I see RPM is idle at 2K , Is it normal ?

                            2. Also with Choke the bike is very smooth, without choke when i drive at 2nd gear as i leave throttle i can feel that hickup front and back movement something like jerking... but with choke its very smooth.

                            3. To start cold engine every morning i use Choke how long it needed to be used ???

                              Yes it is normal....

if this happens only in the morning and for a couple of minutes of the first start of the bike then it is normal but if it is happening throughout the day there might be some dirt in the carb get it checked...

normally choke should be used for 500-1000m. it also depends on how much time it takes for the engine to heat up....

you can see the brake pads in the calipers if you look carefully.you can pretty easily make it out if the pads have become too thin.
im uploading my pics for reference.
the first is with the old pads(actually,it wasn't worn off completely, could do another 2k kms)and second is with new pads.
