Hello guys got my exhaust cut after the catcon like our fellow member "uddiptocse" and it sure feels good with the sound and pickup. More torque seen than stock. Sounds like RE350 Classic..
Awesome bass.

Hi Guys sad to hear that xbhp is closing. Did anyone of you got the mail in your mailbox stating that xbhp is closing on 12th December? Anyways it's been great time with you all. Goodbye.
And also if anyone is interested to be my friend, please do write a message in my inbox.

Yeah, as guessed, it is the new avatar. Modern look. But the font theme in control panel is a pain or it's just me.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16
Please share some pics, and explain the process a bit?Originally posted by segagt_0 View PostHello guys got my exhaust cut after the catcon like our fellow member "uddiptocse" and it sure feels good with the sound and pickup. More torque seen than stock. Sounds like RE350 Classic..

Thanks
Edit:
Done it
Cutting was easy, if needed easy to weld back too.
Pros: bassy sound, reduced some 2kgs
Cons: I feel the low end torque reduced a bit, continues popping sound when decelerating(under 4k rpm. No problem when idling).
Under 4.5k rpm it growls above that it screams.

chetak and the fazer had a fight, fazer torn the chetak's rusting body.so after the fight was over, fazer being a humble 4-stroker gave its semi fairing to the chetak.Originally posted by vimal_hbk View Posthey guys found this while surfing the net..... i found this hilarious and thought of sharing it with you guys.....

Hello mate, will post the pics tomorrow. Nothing rocket science involved just remove the longer part of the exhaust cover and cut it in the joint (welded part). That's it and you're done. Torque has increased a bit now m waiting to check the mileage. As the engine has started breathing a bit more freely, can I expect a better mileage??

Thanks but I've already done it. But I found the torque a bit reduced

Mate afaik, the exhaust is more free flowing now so the afr is a bit lean,so you should get your carb tuned accordingly and you may get the torque back. But this is not a correctly designed ffe and there may be a danger of getting your valves burnt.Originally posted by christo View PostThanks but I've already done it. What you guys are doing to the stock exhaust?Originally posted by juniorbiker403 View PostMate afaik, the exhaust is more free flowing now so the afr is a bit lean,so you should get your carb tuned accordingly and you may get the torque back. But this is not a correctly designed ffe and there may be a danger of getting your valves burnt.
Why you removed the muffler? Free flow with catalytic converter?
This is a big joke!
