Cost of HEL Steel braided lines is INR 2610/- as per quoted to me by the official seller mentioned above. They also accept net banking and will ship it to you if needed. Performance is good as i have tried abhimanyu31' R16 with HEL's brake lines and the bite is different compared to stock set up.

The seller above has brake lines specifically for Yamaha FZ16 so it will not be a jugaad job and can be easily installed at any SVC.

    Cheers,

Not exactly necessary mate.. based on usage Motul mineral can last upto 3k kms. If people have read my earlier posts Motul is good to last 2500-2800 kms as per my riding style of moderate thrash and generic city riding. Changing at every 1500-1700 kms will turn out to be too expensive. There is a reason Yamaha has kept 3k kms service interval if one is using mineral oil grade. Unless Vimal rides his precious at speeds above 100 kmph for extremely long distances then he should ideally shift to semi synth or fully synth oil..will serve him better.

The top of the lighting when on low beam with projectors is a perfectly crisp, clear cut line. One can face such lights just centimeters above this line and not be bothered at all (a few centimeters below, then: what a blast!).
        Hi Luke,
That was what my thinking too, but my friends & brother complaint about the glare, especially where there are roads without dividers or service roads. But the glare is not as bad as one without projector.
Though the solenoid cuts of the beam angle, still sometimes it is difficult for the oncoming traffic, especially when they are on your adjacent lane and I find it dangerous, so if I get the flash I simply switch it off to let the vehicle pass.
Sometime P220's projector also blinds me on unlevel road.

Not hands bro..you cannot apply evenly with your hands

N yes, not water..wipe using a clean soft and dry cloth..apply little pressure while doing that so that it goes.completely

              Look at the spring.
Think about how a spring works.
What happens when you compress/squeeze a spring? Look at the height uncompressed Vs compressed.

Now look at the pre tension nut.
Look at what its doing. Its putting a preload on the spring. What happens when u compress a spring?

Hope it helps u understand and you can learn for yourself and for others out there.

then, get the swingarm pivots lubricated,if this also does'nt help (if you want) get the swingarm bearings checked.you mentioned that your bike is 600km old,at this point it may be normal to have the sound from the rear (as per my observation) and the sound must go away after sometime.my advice is just forget that sound unless it is not affecting the ride quality and handling.when the bike is new,we take care of it as it made of cardboard and fevicol.

What kind of a sound is it?

Check and see if the tool kit/bike papers/first aid kit under the seat is secured properly and not being thrown around. Also check to see if the mudguard/number plate is tightened up properly.

Its possible that it could be as simple as one of the above.

At that position the spring will be uncompressed , so SOFT. ??

Shift to SS oil at 5k ODO and then shift to FS oil at 10K ODO.

Rightly said. Soft if relatively uncompressed.

Mate you don't go to a police station to get a medical report and medical tests right? Similarly, you don't do mix and match parts from a different bike which may or may not be compatible with your ride and may turn out to be problematic rather dangerous. Braking is one of the most essential and integral part of a bike. HEL is a manufaturer which sells genuine after market brake lines designed especially for FZ. Yes it is cost wise expensive. But i personally believe.. ether you go for a good option or just simply don't go for it all.

If you feel you don't have a budget for a HEL brake line currently i would suggest stick to stock till you feel comfortable to shift to HEL Lines .. No Offense.

Go to HEL performance website and check out the indian official seller list. You will see their name.

                              DIBRU SAIKHOWA NATIONAL PARK EXPERIENCE

                              @All
: I couldnot resist and went back to Dibru Saikhowa National Park in Tinsukia District, Assam, India on my friend's noble steed : Honda Activa. . Anyways, I had a chance to meet some nice visitors while i was at a neighbouring village along with the honorary warden of Dibru Saikhowa and the District Commissioner of Tinsukia, Assam.

                              Below are the images:

                              Pic 1: Hoolock Gibbon

                              Pic 2: Hoolock Gibbon

For those who want to know what is so special about these creatures; their calling and singing to each other. Below is a reference video of the same just for listening to their calling and singing:

I was informed by the honorary warden of the park that apparently this national park is more rich in bio diversity, plants and animals then even Sundarbans in West Bengal or any other parks in India.

There are over 200 different species of migratory birds, orchids, fish and 7 different types of cats which roam freely around here. I was very touched by looking at a symbiotic relationship that has been formed between the friends in the above picture and the villagers near the park. The villagers here don't sell any bananas, orange or fruits outside in the market, rather consume a very little amount by themselves and leave the rest of them for the Hoolock Gibbons and other animals to enjoy free meals right from their backyard.

So the local people by default have become their friends and also protectors of wild life in this region where they are utterly concerned about the well-being and health of the flora and fauna and as a result they are experiencing a huge inflow of tourists from the rest of India and abroad. So for those riders and tourers who would want a safari and have any interest in ornithology/ bird watching should forget every other park in India and should visit this National park once. I can personally guarentee that none of the enthusiasts will ever leave with disappointment.

                              Cheers,

                              • ^^^ Nice to see you enjoying the wildlife. There is very less chance to get to see things like these as our urban world are occupying all that belongs to animals and their privacy by building national highways intruding forest area. I'm also kind of guy who wants to travel places like this but the lazy bunch of guys I have with me. Could do only one trip this year and that too only about round calculation of 200kms.

Our guys have great excuses, one has back pain and the other has important meeting so and so......but luckily I'm getting chance of doing Solo rides once in two weeks about 400-500 kms round off once in a fortnight. I'm enjoying every bit of nature as my journey starts early anywhere between 4 am and 5 am early morning and I reach the destination within 4 hours taking 10 mins break each hour.

The journey with the likes of tata ace type vehicles and govt transport buses having tiny drag races, it's just moment of enjoyment. Here our Govt buses are locked at speed limit of 60km/hr but I just check on each one othem that how many of them have broken then speed limit box and it's surprising that some even touched 90 km/hr. I think they deserve atleast 80km/hr else I don't understand how they could cope with 60km/hr travelling long distances anywhere between 200-1000 km ranges.

Solo riding has a different taste where you have your own world on enjoying things and also giving less stress to the babe.
