These showroom walas always try to push their products big time..
The showroom guy you mentioned is either new at his job, or is a fool, or is trying to get you into buying an R15 (my wild guess ).. I can't in any way see that he's being honest when he's telling you what he has..
Like other members have pointed out, your decision regarding the bike should be final.. Be sure you're comfortable enough with the bike's handling, posture & control, before you actually book it..
        Cheers!

Sorry bro! Not applicable for the R15 & Apache though..
Tall guys do find these bikes uncomfortable..

I guess i have seen this one already in xbhp. someone was stuning on this one rite? i phorgot hees name.....
I like the blue, red and white paint combination. Of course maintenance would be high especially the white alloy. Would love to get it done, but i have to consider my state where rainfall is at its peak and very unpredictable .

I dont even have enough time to keep my Monster clean everyday or even few minutes a day. And so if I should get it done, I will have to keep a special attendent to keep it in its sexy shape and colour perhaps a neighbour babe to wash it every day...hehehehe....lmao....

I am sure there are Apache owners here who are really tall.

Sorry bro, its all about adapting to the bikes ergonomics.

                      • welcome, its my pleasure Sidarth...

Finally! its all about marketting huh! You are not the ony one who has been misguided by the showroom walas. Someone in the earlier post had similar issues like you. Must be the same showroom guy. Smart marketting by those guys....

So Guys, beware of the marketting concepts by the showroom walas!

Thanks for the examples guys! I didn't mean to say all tall guys will find these bikes uncomfortable.. Some of them do (I don't have any names to give out though ).. Maybe its because they're unable to adjust to the ergonomics of the bike..
Will surely post names of people I personally get to know of..

I think he's only suggesting you the best bike he has to offer (he obviously gets a higher commission for it though )..
Fun apart, please see which bike best suits your requirements, and your pocket, and go for it.. The FZ is definitely a very nice bike, and is easier & more economial to maintain than the R15.. GO FOR IT after you've satisfied yourself that it fits well for you..

                          • Hi All

Its been quiet a while i havent posted any thing here but i guess being a biker i cant stay far from the BROTHERHOOD. I have a weird situation (Like always) I checked by FZ's mileage, a ltr to reserve, its returns a mileage of almost 40-42 kmpl but when i fill the tank up its returns a mileage of only 36-37 kmpl. I understand there are a lot of factors which might effect the mileage but man the change is way to much. & to top it all i had major pickup related issues, got the carb changed and it resolved, well almost, the problem but it is still not running is its suppose to. My friends CBZ beats my FZ out right in a drag due to the lack of my bikes pickup. Guys can any one tell me what can i do to get the problem resolved?
I have tried: Adjusting Chain slack, Air filter cleaning, Carb Cleaning, Tyre pressure check etc
Please let me know if i have missed some thing?
