if they did the brake oil top up along with the service then the possibility is that some amount of air might have been introduced in the system... take it to the svc and tell them the problem they will have to bleed your front brakes, to remove the air from the system....

        • @Kinshuk: Rynox, indeed a good find mate! I almost ended up buying one with just straps but this one is a better bet.

          Cheers,

            Cheers,
The rynox tank bag for fz optimus-S has a small problem when you are travelling at higher speeds like 90-100kmph for a long time the suction cups tend to come off because of vibes.... but in any of my trips all of them didnt come off only the front ones one at a time... the rear ones held good.... even after they come off the bag is stable and gives you more than required time to set it back on the move....

Probably the paint being eaten/stripped by the brake fluid that has seeped out or leaked.
Rub the bubbles and let us know if the paint flakes off.
Brake fluid is a good paint stripper.. I know, I had some spilled onto my rear rim when I got a rear disc brake conversion and they never wiped it off immediately

                        • Had the first puncture today.. Culprit was a small nail.

A puncture after 11500 kms is not that bad a statistics anyway.

And today my Fazer had its first puncture fixed, I am not sure when did that little nail enter the rear tyre but since past 2 days I had a feeling that rear tyre pressure is low and today on visually checking it I found a nail on it, soon took it to the local puncture expert and the work was done in less than 5 minutes , it costed about 40 rupees.
