I hope you are not near a ignition source when spraying atomized diesel. It will ignite (under pressure or atomized in the air) and possibly explode if there are the right conditions.
Having said that we also use a pressure pack and spray diesel on the cement units on land and offshore to prevent cement from sticking to it.
We ensure there are no ignition sources active during the spraying process.

Yeah, I'm careful when it comes to using fluids like that. Not only diesel but WD40,kerosene etc

The front brake switch is situated at the brake lever, as shown in the image below by #15. See if you can adjust it easily or ask SVC mechanic to do the job.

Thanks for the pic abhijitkn , I was able to fiddle around with the sensor and got my tail lights to illuminate now when I hit the front brake.

        • No issues. But prefer to have the brake light illuminated, before actual braking begins, hope you have set it up that way.

Thanks for your inputs Luke. I called up dealer again and he is saying that 300V single ester may be there with him.. So now i am more or less convinced that it is a lemon. If by the time i reach Mumbai and they still have it with them, i will click a pic and share it here and then send it across to Motul/Atlantic Lubricants as well to spot the trouble and fix it before rampant fakes start circling around like it happened with Castrol in India.

@All: Thanks for the feedback, i shall correct it in my future posts

Anyways, i was busy yesterday roaming around a national park in Assam and i have to say that i was completely mesmerised by it. So much so that i ended up changing my avatar pic!!

If the mods do permit, i shall post a trip log about it on the tourer's section. Unfortunately my noble steed is sitting at home in Mumbai so here i had to make do with a Honda Activa!! Cute little machine but very robust indeed.

            Cheers,

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Yeah its a shame. Considering the Fazer has got mirrors that do look good and go well with the bike's looks.
But the Fz's mirrors look pretty bland and dont go well with the macho looks of the bike.

                              Just my personal opinion.

                              Cheers!!
