Dude, i got so impressed with the performance figures u mentioned in ur quotes after sprocket updates.. I had arranged for a spare honda unicorn sprocket since weeks but didn't had time to go to mech for doing the job so after seeing the pics attached i decided to do it on my own tonight.. opened the cover easily but tried all possible tools to open d nut on sprocket but it would'nt open.. finally gave up with the fear that i'v already scrapped the edges of the nut enough, now i fear even the mechanic might not be able to open it. Will try with the mechanic tomorrow. Anyways wat did you use to open that nut on sprocket. if i'm not mistaken, we are supposed to open the nut which revolves as the sprocket revolves right ?Originally posted by nand15 View Post

guys for some previous rides I am seeing that my bike goes to 90km+ with the rpm at 8-9000 but refuses to go ahead even with throttle pinned or varying throttle. It is not reaching 100+ after the last service.earlier it used to reach there with ease.
AND ALMOST 3000RPM STILL LEFT TO GO,it feels like that the bike struggling to go there,it cruises comfortably now in 90+speed.and also my bikes both tire pressure I keep--front=30;rear-37psi so it will not affect the top speed...please help....

sigpicBOND BETWEEN 2 LEGS & 2 WHEELS.....CAN SURPASS ANY BOUNDARY....

This is surprising it came off with absolutely no trouble , you're right you gotta remove the nut that holds the sprocket in place , anti-clockwise turn with a size 8 or 9 ring spanner should do the trick ...Originally posted by mitz View PostDude, i got so impressed with the performance figures u mentioned in ur quotes after sprocket updates.. If you are still having problems , take it to the mech , a 2 mins job and he probably won't charge you also , provided you know the mech well or something .
Dude check if the SVC messed with your carb setting , did you complain to them of the mileage or something ? they might have messed with it . check your mileage and see ... will be a good pointer if your carb settings have been messed with .Originally posted by cscsarkar331 View Postguys for some previous rides I am seeing that my bike goes to 90km+ with the rpm at 8-9000 but refuses to go ahead even with throttle pinned or varying throttle. It is not reaching 100+ after the last service.earlier it used to reach there with ease.

Yup Same feeling here...
It might be on lean setting so Lesser fuel... common way to find out is your engine heating up a lot than it normally does. anyways i suggest get it checked at svc.A quote by a toilet, " use me well, keep me clean, i would never tell anybody whatever i have seen.." :P

yes, before service I told them that the milage was too low-35-38 in normal riding.after the service my idle rpm increased to 2000rpm and I filled in 400 rs petrol,so still checking mileage & I lowered the rpm to 1700 hot.Originally posted by nand15 View PostThis is surprising it came off with absolutely no trouble , you're right you gotta remove the nut that holds the sprocket in place , anti-clockwise turn with a size 8 or 9 ring spanner should do the trick ...

If you did tell them this , then I am sure that they have tuned it for mileage , they would have just made it completely lean ... get it back to normal soon .Originally posted by cscsarkar331 View Postyes, before service I told them that the milage was too low-35-38 in normal riding.after the service my idle rpm increased to 2000rpm and I filled in 400 rs petrol,so still checking mileage & I lowered the rpm to 1700 hot.

I follow srictly run in .....sorry to use sms lingo.......never gone above 4500 rpm.......tuk it above 60 twice ...........sound is not from chain its from rear drum sc guys told problem in drum dey wil fix it in 1st service.....Originally posted by RAK View PostPlease avoid SMS lingo here on XBhp its really tough to read your post. Regarding the "kat-kat" sound it should be coming from the Chain, it should be lose which produces this sound.
Also regarding the mileage, did you follow the run-in instructions strictly?HISTORY IS NOT ABOUT WHO IS RIGHT BUT ABOUT WHO WRITES IT.......
