    2 weeks ago I changed my rear brake shoe but I feel sometimes the bike is dragged like totally less braking and sometimes at 20kmph the bike skids... what could be the issue??? a faulty brake shoe or????

    About the disc brake installing of Fz its useless... I mean rarely cross 120 mark so whats the need for sudden stop??
    I'd rather be fast than invisible!!!!!

      just parted off with my FZ's

      Hey guys i sold my Fz's off last week... just thought of dropping by to say that it was a great bike over the year... sold it off at 11,000Kms+ and it still looked pretty good and a lil bit of rust collecting up! What can i say for an indian bike that normally starts falling apart after a year the FZ was quite good... Its a better bike compared to other indian brands like Bajaj, Tvs, and HH.... lol they have no respect here in Sri Lanka but the Yamaha Managed to make it through but yet... i had to get rid of it... The respect here goes for the Jap bikes only... the New Ninja 250 and CBR250 have no place here... the agents have not even decide if they want to get them down.

      However its always the Japs here when it comes to 250cc machines... quite alot on the street the CBR MC22 models roaring the streets along the Hornets, Jades, Spada, XR's, etc etc...

      anyway my next bike.... the Hornet 250 MC 31.... getting my hands on it by tomorrow.
      will keep yall updated...

        +100 to that.Rear drums do the job well.FZ dont do speeds that really need rear disks.

          Triples

          will taking triples for 3 or 4 km decrease the mileage drastically ?
          my mileage dropped to 39 or 40 after taking triples as i was checking the mileage on the run

                  hey guy's yamaha bike finishing IS WORST in mumbai... 1st that fadeing problem and now its with the speedometer...!i had not ride my bike for a whole day 2 days ago...so i had some work 2morow so i started the bike and found ths problem that my speedometer doesnt work..its shows half numbers n no nutral lights or any other lights are starting...(but the headlight,upper beam,pass light all working perfectly..)..n mostly i have not ride my bike in rain..so thrs no chance of getting water inside my bike...so whats the matter??????

                    There's two-year warranty on speedometer. Get it replaced if faulty.

                      1st free service

                      guys need urgent help!!!
                      went upto the panache service center today for my 1st free service in indranagar bangalore.. but the guy s quoted me for 500 rs.
                      Does it cost so much for a free service???

                        Should cost around 300 for mineral oil+filter and 110 if you choose chain clean and lube.

                            Oil filter around 40rs Lumax make and 58 for Purolator make.
                            Chain lube only 110 here. Tell them not to do that, not worth it. I never ever did that and my chain set lasted good 26k km.

                              1 more querry : in the last page of "SERVICE AND WARRANTY HANDBOOK" it says : "BIKE AND OWNER CARE KIT"
                              is it supposed to be signed at the time of delivery???
                              and do i get a rear mudflap free???
