Got a new FAZER LE
Dear All,
I got A new Fazer Limited edition about a week back,
i filled around 8 liters of petrol after getting out of the showroom and Yamaha shop guy told me that he had filled in a couple of liters at the time of delivery,
i.e a total of 10 liters.
When i filled in 8 liters, the fuel meter was a bar extra than half,
now, i have driven around 160 kms. and the fuel meter is showing only a single bar left, however it is still running on main fuel gauge and not in reserved.
Can any one tell me the exact average that i can or will get with my Fazer as i am an average speed rider and do not drive rough.
Thanks in Advance.

Same here , if u check a few pages back I posted a similar query. Yes the bars do drop fast and the fuel sign starts blinking too. But still if you open up the tank u'll see enough petrol.
Have spoken to my FZ16 owner friends in the building and they too have the same issue.
The thing is we have to depend on our knowledge of the avg the bike is giving and the amount of petrol we've put in.
This is a known issue with the fuel indicator and I believe we have to live with it.

Yeah that's right. I've noticed in my bike that from the moment the last indicator starts blinking, my bike goes for around 50-60 km and then I've to use the reserve...Originally posted by avithe1 View PostHi,

one more question to Fazer users
Have you opened your seat,it is a bit harder to lock and not as smooth as FZ,
when i confirmed it with Yamaha Factory Service Centre in Mumbai he said that the locking System of Fazer and FZ has minor changes,
We have to push it harder on one place...
Have all of you experienced this??
Thanks In Advance.
