Drive in 4-4.5k rpm.. And since its a highway route, you don't need to worry about running out of fuel..

What i really do not like are tyres easily prone to puncture and mushroom fix and all, Yamaha should done an overall research for citywide conditions then apply. No crash guards also made available, even considering indian road sense. chain rusting is so common, my chain got rusted after 3 days of service. cluth lever broke in half when bike fell on speed of 10, foot peg broke on the same speed although it cost Rs 35/-, this proves build quality is cheap. they only concentrated on a great handling and styled bike. But not things which matter in long term. I do not use bike for long distances i make short trips so i am ok with it, my frnd uses it for long travel, he is ok with it if not very happy.
guys bikes are not made manhandling proof... if a brake lever doesnt break it bends... it affects the bikes performance as handling becomes bad. and if it is a really bad fall, the whole break lever could break... thats even worse. So they have provided releif in both the levers to ease breaking them off than getting them bent.

as far as rim bent is concerned ... it is primarily because of the use of radial tyres with 60 aspect ratio (the macho looking ones). it has lesser to with the weight of the rim and the quality of it. radial tyres pass on more bumps to the rims than nylon ones and smaller aspect ratio worsens the things. So don't feel lazy to apply breaks when you see potholes... there is no excuse for bad driving though. and it is not meant for village roads.

But I can't find a road headed that way.

i think u have grossly miscalculated the mileage dude..... i have never heard anyone getting bout 45 kmpl in any service

and especially after 1st service the mileage decreases severely......

the average AVERAGE a fz delivers is between 30-40....

                        • Mine gives 45-46 kmpl easily. I usually ride below 60, along with occasional bursts to 80-85 (on empty streets).

i had to pull down because of bad road ahead....or else it may have gone up to 120 maybe

but it takes a lot of time to reach this figure and requires me to sit crouched in a aerodynamic posture.....

my friend who was on rtr160 easily zoomed past me although he said he doesnt feel much confident on rtr at high speeds

after crossing 96-98kmph(7000rpm) bikes creates more sound

that is the sound of engine(or firing hard) struggling to reach 100

i if find bike very rigid and steady at 110kmph

I don't think that bike struggles to reach 100. But yeah there is a bit of struggle to go beyond 110 or for that matter to reach 110 from 107 is a struggle for Fazer.

bike fires loud while in this session(96-98kmph)7000rpm in the fifthgear

but after crossing 100-105 bike fires reduces
