    Engine guard/underbelly for FZ16

    Has anyone tried putting R15's underbelly/engine guard on our FZ16?
    Can it be fitted without any mods like welding or drilling??
    How about SS125's engine cover..I just want to know which bike's engine cover or underbelly(whatever one wishes to call it) could be fitted directly on FZ. I am sure it will greatly enhance it looks and make its naked street fighter look more balanced and complete.

        apart from the PSD being soft compound the treads on them arent deep enough for the off roading... chk out the pics of leh riders you will notice that even the national highway on the hilly region is sometimes flooded and filled with stones...

          okay guys , got the projector + angel eye setup fixed on my bike with a lot of help from kinshuk.arya ... had to do some jugaad to get it to work but did it ( glad to know my 3yrs of electrical an electronic engg classes haven't gone to waste ) finally ... , now just saving up for the HID's coz frankly the output isn't great like kinshuk said . ...

          attaching some WIP and comparo shots ...

          Pic 4 is the stock and Pic 5 is with the projector ...

            so is this projector on the stock bulb? coz yeah the o/p is super bad. I had initially thought u had made a mistake in labeling the pics and that pic 4 was with the projector. Mebbe you could've got with Red LEDs for a red bike. But thats just me, I really like RED

              Ah gotcha. Having the FZ-S visor might help as it would deflect the wind away from the camera.

                  no it's a H3 projector running a 55W H3 bulb , plus i'm running it on low beam ... yeah just waiting to slap on the HID ... but need to save up for it first

                    according to your post... this is stock lighting


                    AND THIS IS PIC 5

                    or have you mixed up the two pics?
                    coz in PIC 4... the shield cutoff is clearly visible.

                      ^^ yes Pic 4 is stock ,Pic 5 is with the projector ... Notice the bluish tinge near the headlight in Pic 5 which is caused by the angel eye ... It's a single beam projector , so it doesn't have a shield cut-off I guess ...

                          how'd it be possible to carry out the mod without welding?

                          how would u fasten the "belly-pan" to the bike?

                          the mod is possible... but the R15 part would look funny and incomplete on it.

                          one option is using the "belly" that's on the Apache.
