Sprocket for FZ16.
I am a FZ owner for almost 3 years now. The bike really is amazing. It looks radical, handling is sweet, its great in the city, and is great value as an overall package. However lets accept that one is not going to always ride it within city limits. On the highway once past 90km/hr it struggles to get past over 100km/hr with the same ferocity it gathers speed at lower revs. I know its not ment for topend performance. It did manage to do 115km/hr on the speedgun with a speedo indicating 128km/hr on 2km long straight and the vibs are really annoying at those speed. I came across "sprocketing" as one of the most easiest problem to address the FZ's topspeed speed and vibrating issues. But the shops in Thane and some parts in Mumbai are unable to help me. They are insisting on buying the whole Honda Unicorn kit which costs around Rs1000/- in Thane. Can any of you who has done this mod in Mumbai....guide me on this issue and also on possible location for making purchases.Comment

but for when my sister comes i lover her more than my bike
i am someone who think
"the way you treat your bike is the way it treats you"
today morning my parents asked me to drop my sister to school for the first time since bus didn't come
i was happy
i drove more carefully than usual we a small road leads to her school which had lots of wet dirt n mud in the side speed was below 25 a applied the front brake for slowing down while overtaking because i din want to overtake as the school was just 50 meters away
THEN the front tyre locked! Shit the back started to skid
But nothing happened Thanks to god and buddy i got control back and rode
after the incident today morning i am out of my mind
i don't know y am i so depressed
i know thats in rainy reason this is quite normal
but i am depressed because my sister was behind me...(((((((((
don't want ti ride it again
I used to love it
i used to respect it
i use to trust it
i used to care it
N now i don't know what happened
help me overcome that i will stop ridingComment

Your feelings have gone into the bike buddy, it will not disappoint you I'm sure.
Take your sister out more often&no need to be over cautious-you tend to make mistakes when doing so.Quench my thirst with gasoline!Comment

i just went for 2nd service i waited all the time dint go back
talked with the service personnel even had lunch with them
the did all the service properly after doing each task asked me if its ok
did a wax coating on the tank and back free
did some painting on the sari guard weld were rust was there
got the back mudguard extension i was so happy but today i don't know((((((

i understand that if it was another bike id have definitely fell

Just stay calm, do other activities, other daily works. After some days take your bike out and go for a ride(if possible with friends but ride single). Then after some days not on rainy day take your sister with you. Everything will become fine as time passes by. Now just don't think about the incident.Originally posted by Sunjay Kumar View Post
