yeah ... It manages about 118-121 ... but the thing is the time to get from 80-100 is less unlike the stock which used to take it's own sweet time getting there ..Originally posted by RAK View Post

Forgot to say, my battery is back alive. It was unclean terminals (I believe). I usually clean it before installing battery back. This time it was brother who fixed it. He didn't clean the terminals, forgot to put the drain tube back, bent two red wires going to fuse
I fixed it myself the day I got off the plaster
@all 15T pursuers, please don't mix it with 140/70 tyres
. I'm getting 4-5+ kmph difference @3+k rpm and it cruises very much effortlessly in highway, but when you have a pillion and you have to start from a gradient, then no other option than to drop the pillion or rev hard. I'll be reverting to 14T soon, keeping 15T for long runs.
@Tyre hunters, Continental ContiGO! 140/70R17 (Honda CBR OEM) is available now and cost between MRF Revz and Pirelli SD.#RetiredRider

I own a fazer limited edition, clocked about 18kOriginally posted by kmathur02 View PostHey guys i have few points i want to clear before buying....FZS or FZ 16
1. How much milage it gives in day to day commuting and on highway...
2. In long term any issues regarding performance and smoothness.
I am consistently getting above 40-43 kmpl on normal driving(below 5.5k rpm) else it will go down to 35-38kmpl.
The only maintenance till now was last week I had to replace the chain and sprocket. Also replaced front and rear shoes. Total cost Rs2868(including servicing and tax)Cheers!!!

Pulsar crash guards are way too small.....mine is quite big as comapred to my friends 220F. This crash guard is very effective and I have never faced broken clutch lever or brake lever till date after a fall (touchwoodOriginally posted by rockgird View PostIt doesn't have a leg guard right now.... I see in your pic you've leg guard similar to pulsar. the one which SVC is offering is with just one rod ... like those old yamaha RX series had.
I wasn't sure if it'll be able to handle a crash.
).
Thats what I need for highway crusing. And how easy is to revert to 14T again? Is it a DIY? Do you keep changing your front sprocket for City and Highway rides?Originally posted by nand15 View Postyeah ... Spares are of amazing quality and you need to pay the price for it. BTW let me tell you few comparison between the consumable spares cost of 220F of my friends and FZ/Fazer- Chain sporckets & chain set: FZ/Fazer: 1200 Rs & 220F: 1200 Rs
- Brake Pads: FZ/Fazer: 250 Rs & 220F: 350 Rs
- Spark Plug: FZ/Fazer: ~150-200 Rs
PS: Guys please let me know if I have quoted any incorrect price above / anything has changed.
I guess SD is far more better than ContiGO. Also Revz is not that bad. Never faced any major issue with the tyre except the whole lot of puncture prone old tyre which MRF replaced for just 600 Rs for a new one.Originally posted by deville_56 View PostForgot to say, my battery is back alive. It's a 10 minute job . but the hard part is wheel alignment ... the rear wheel will have to come in a bit to compensate for it ... It is very much a DIY .Originally posted by RAK View Post

My riding up until now is mostly highway so i don't find the need to change it ...
