look at this guys my rear tyre i think its a small stone inside it
i checked by spraying water air is not escaping

but
im loosing preassure on both front and rear tyre is it because of the roads or is it the tyres problem
im loosing about 1 to 2 psi in 1 day

i fill 28 in front and 35 in front

Back on saddle. Battery officially dead. Bought TAFE Speed Boss from Bosch dealer. Bosch completely stopped two wheeler battery. This was VRLA, completely sealed MF Battery. Two-year warranty.

Bought a bottle of Shell Advance AX7 10W40, recommended by fellow FZian. It's semisynthetic and cost only 315 MRP. (FS was around 745)

For the last one month, my bike was rode my brother, my cousin, and 3-4 friends and now it feels like a Pulsar, very rough Only good thing was it returned 56 kmpl in real world condition

I have posted following in xbhp and got amazing responses and, I have selected my bike and got delivered on last week Thursday. I am new to Yamaha family, earlier I was owner of Bajaj Discover 125 (from 2006).

I want to know details/suggestions on following

FZ16 new bike advise/suggestions

1) What is the Speed recommended for new FZ16 till some Kilometers.
A: The fist service is at 1000km so you will have to control your emotions (40-50)
2) Which is the best speed/RPM in each gear to get good millage?
A: To get maximum mileage try to shift early i don't mean too early
between 3 to 4k
3) Frequency of checking tier pressure and front and rear pressure limit.
A: i am not sure about this some check once in a month i do it every
3days its free in petrol pumps
4) which petrol is good like "India Oil" , "HP" etc... Currently I am using "India Oil"
A: Any trustworthy petrol pump
5) what are the basic checks should i do with my new bike to find any hidden problem areas like engine or something else.
A: check the tyres , chain slack , suspension electricals etc
more experienced owners can put light on this
6) What are the best accessories available in market for FZ16. To improve look & feel.
A: A large number of customization accessories are available ffrom Yamaha it depends on your taste
(btw i there is a dispute between the company which makes these accessories and Yamaha for sometime so its hard to find alll accessories in one shop hope they settle fast)
7) I am from Chennai. Which dealer is best in service. i bought it from RAJ Yamaha OMR.

8) Best shop and place in Chennai to buy/fit accessories for FZ16.

7) Other best maintenance tips.
A: Use good quality fuel
Lube the chain every 500km as recommended
maintain correct air pressure
clean and wash it regularly as it attracts lot of dirt if the
road is dirty
8) dos and don’ts with FZ16.
A: Ride safe
Be good to your ride it will be good to you

Anyhow I will still use my FZ for the everyday commute for the city things. FZ has sure helped me achieve some good riding techniques and helped me improve myself in all the aspects that is possible (still haven't achieved that perfection )

I still am a proud owner of an Yamaha FZ-S which is around 2 years old and covered 34K kms on the ODO
