if you still do intend to go for a new battery, i would recommend going for a full maintainence free battery... bosch or amaron.. a tad bit expensive but worth the money spent!!..

the stock battery can handle the osram night breaker 55/60W bulb and a loud horn as long as you don't go crazy honking or the light on full beam without the bike engine running.. the stock battery should have a decent life of 2.5 years if maintained well with regular top ups of distilled water and clean battery terminals..

as explained to me earlier by my fellow bhpians, since the electricals in FZ is of DC circuit, it can handle a 9 Amp battery as well... however, me being me i would still prefer being as close to stock as possible..

Osram is OEM manufacturer their bulbs are fully legal....

will get the battery and electricals checked and then will see if the battery change is necessary.... i think 7Amps would do ....

anything above the 5000-6000K color temperature pierces the oncoming traffic and is very difficult to even open your eyes.... it is more uncomfortable then even a high beam....

for them anything but yellow is a punishable crime in rajasthan... have stopped me twice because of the blue colour in angel eye....

ah,if your talking abt what the cops think,then it is illegal

officially it isnt.there isnt any such law simply couse brightness doesnt increase with temperature.the intensity of a 3000k and even 1000k bulb or hid is the same.
The reason cops do this nonsense is coz of ppl using hids in halo reflectors,and since hids are usally 6000k and above,they think white light is harmfull!

its not the brightness but the color itself causes discomfort....

HIDs are also available at a color range of 3000K....

NGK G-Power Platinum plugs. Stock air filter.
