You can ride the bike for a longer stretch also provided you are running between 75-80 kmph.
The bike kinda grunts a little when over stretched. I had a slight problem with the chain alingment also, so that maybe the reason.
i tour more than i commute on my FZ.it has given me absolutely no probs.the longest i have done is cochin-bangalore.

remove the side panels and check all the wire near the battery and the clip type joints ???
and can u tell me how to check earthing ???
as someone suggested if earthing is not proper the battery drains ......
i am not to sure about the earthing... but do check the battery terminals.. if all of a sudden the starter is working fine and all lights are working fine.. i feel the possible sulphur deposition may be the culprit which the svc guys rarely check...

        cheers

        • I am under curiosity which Version of Fazer is latest , look at the pics.

As per the picture I own the second one (Fazer2).

I didn't know that Yamaha has changed the color scheme, anyway Fazer2 with Black body color option is cool

yes I checked that too,it was fine.& one important notice is that today morning the tail light is fine, only when I press the brakes or sitch on then only it sitches on.And for last 3 days I ride my Fz in very very bad rainy condition for atleast 640 km..so can the problem be any electrical wiring fault??should I take it to Svc??

But if any electrical modification is done within warranty period then warranty is void.

whether a bulb is illegal or not depends on the color temperature of the bulb.. anything above 6000K is illegal....

Osram is OEM manufacturer their bulbs are fully legal....
