i am not to sure about the earthing... but do check the battery terminals.. if all of a sudden the starter is working fine and all lights are working fine.. i feel the possible sulphur deposition may be the culprit which the svc guys rarely check...Originally posted by DarKnight View Postu mean the the wires running from the battery rite ???
remove the side panels and check all the wire near the battery and the clip type joints ???
and can u tell me how to check earthing ???
as someone suggested if earthing is not proper the battery drains ......

cheersA quote by a toilet, " use me well, keep me clean, i would never tell anybody whatever i have seen.." :P

I am under curiosity which Version of Fazer is latest , look at the pics.
As per the picture I own the second one (Fazer2).
I didn't know that Yamaha has changed the color scheme, anyway Fazer2 with Black body color option is cool
HH Splendor (Sold)
Honda Activa (2008-Current)
Yamaha Fazer (2011-Current)
Honda CBR250R(In list - waiting for savings to be filled)

yes I checked that too,it was fine.& one important notice is that today morning the tail light is fine, only when I press the brakes or sitch on then only it sitches on.And for last 3 days I ride my Fz in very very bad rainy condition for atleast 640 km..so can the problem be any electrical wiring fault??should I take it to Svc??Originally posted by nand15 View Postokay you might have already done it , but other than the tension did you check the brake light adjusting knob near the monoshock ? if you have checked this too , try fiddling around with it a bit , it would probably react a bit late when you brake but then atleast will not leave the tail-light ON always ...

But if any electrical modification is done within warranty period then warranty is void.Originally posted by deville_56 View PostTried and tested. No harm yet (Horn since November 2009 and light 6+ months, still original stock battery). YMI don't provide electrical warranty (only for manufacturing defects).

whether a bulb is illegal or not depends on the color temperature of the bulb.. anything above 6000K is illegal....Originally posted by DarKnight View Postthe battery was checked by 2-3 guys but they never disconnected or checked the terminals it was on the bike and all the did was plud some cables and check the reading .
