for headlights go for HID should cost somewhere around 3k. or if you are short on budget yo ucan go for Osram nightbreaker (55/55W) or a similar headlamp from Philips should cost around 600-800rs per bulb....

not sure about the horn though....

      • Is my calculation of mileage correct?

MY yamaha fazer went into reserve at 303 km and then I filled 1 litre of petrol at around 330km and it again went into reserve at 351 km.

so 351-303=48 km per litre ,will this be the mileage .

Its almost unbelievable mileage if I have calculated correctly.

Please correct me ,if there has been a mistake.

I've upgraded to Osram Bella 60/55W, only 45 bucks. Outruns P220 stock setup (supposedly the best stock setup). and Bosch Symphony mounted inside tank panels. 550 for a pair and around 150 for relay, fuse, wire, etc. You can also get Bosch FC4, sound similar to Innova's stock horn, but very loud.

i think there is a mistake in the calculation.... those 27kms are creating a confusion as we dont know how much fuel was used in going from 303 to 331km...

next time if you want to check for mileage there are two methods:

                1. fill the bike to the brim. note the reading. use it for a couple of days. then again fill the bike to the brim and then calculate using the amount displayed at the fueling station.

                2. when you think that the bike is about to go in to reserve keep one liter of fuel with you in a bottle and fill the bike as soon as it hits the reserve and not after 27kms (this generates another variable which is hard to calculate) and then calculate.

Tried and tested. No harm yet (Horn since November 2009 and light 6+ months, still original stock battery). YMI don't provide electrical warranty (only for manufacturing defects).
