Check battery first of all.

Hi Abhijit/Rohit, It's located at the other end of the nana peth road, when you enter nana peth road from the laxmi road. Entering laxmi road you will find the shops shown in pic at your right side. I have attached the pic.
You need to go at other end of this road, and you will find lots of seat makers shops, smallers and biggers. But one shop at right side of road in the last is quite big, and it has two sides. Road side end is smaller, but other side end of shop is quite big.It has some pulsar 220 type seats in display at the other side of shop.

I meant whether it's cranking now. If it's not starting now, then battery is the issue, it might be discharged. Red light will come on when cranking, then no response.

no, its not cranking...and console is blank as its in OFF state...if battery get discharged, what should i do? service center is the only solution?

battery is the issue...

take it to the svc and get the battery charged.. also get the water level in the bat checked. after the battery is charged and it is connected to the bike... ask them to apply petroleum jelly or grease on the terminals to prevent corrosion

if you simply want to start the bike, keep the ignition to ON, shift the gear to 2nd and then make a small dash along with the bike while keeping the clutch pressed completely and just suddenly leave the clutch.. the moment engine cranks to life re-engage the clutch and you can ride it... most likely the horn will sound weird coz of the dead battery.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. will take it to svc tomorrow morning...in the mean time, to make it run, i have to do the 2nd shift method everytime..right? and console will be still off if i start using the 2nd shift?

Cost of Replacing Instrument Cluster, Scoop & Front Visor

Hi Guys,

I was unfortunate today. Though not intentional I was speeding at one of the corners somehow lost the concentration...more gas....went off the road...hit the brakes...the front brake got locked & bam! I was of the bike...hit face first....I was completely fine...not a single scratch...thanks to all the protection...But I broke the instrument cluster, Scoop on right side & scratches on the front visor....but there is a small depression on the exhaust pipe behind the engine..hope it is not going affect the performance of the bike....
Thanks to knee guard no scratches elsewhere....
Want to know how much the instrument cluster costs? How much the depression on the exhaust pipe will hurt the performance of the bike?
Also once it is changed can I get the current ODO meter & trip reading?

The Digital consoles are fully dependent on the battery.Also see whether are there any deposits on the battery connectors,they might be the resisting.Once bike gets started leave it idle for 2-3 mins so as battery will get some life and will be alright for some time.Once the bike will start the console will also get turned on not to worry.

First of all very sad to hear,hope you are fine now.I dont know the actual rate but once I asked svc & they told console will be 1750,scoop is nearly 350-450 bucks,& regarding front visor I assume it to be Fzs or Fazer,if it is Fzs then it will cost you 250 rs but if it is fazer then nearly 6000..A pic of the where the bend is actually located will be easy for us to tell.pls provide pics.then only we can help..
