    My bike is done with 1year and 3 months and I thought I can do something to bring the bike's look back to the original condition. I changed the color kit, did some painting job and a new rear tyre and few misc. It costed me 13K as far now and I want to install angel eyes. My mechanic inquired about the price and said me that it will come around 3K.

    Please help me guys, where can I get it done in a cheap price? I am in chennai.

      Angel eyea for 3k is too much..... It should not cost you more than 1000rs a pair.....

        Dont pay a penny more than 600RS for a pair (and that's the costliest it can get)!
        anyway i believe your mech was referring to a projector with Angel Eyes.

          Hi,

          A burning smell comes from the engine after the bike runs for a few kilometres. It's not that noticeable. But when I kneel down near the engine its there.
          Any idea why it could happen.

          I'm using Motul FL FS 15W 50 engine oil. I changed the oil filter about a month ago.

            I hope yes. He should have mentioned the angel eyes with projector headlights. Will meet him tomorrow. Have to ask. If it is with projector with angel eyes, does it worth?

              I also get the similar smell, kind of rubber burning....not much though..no issues with wiring.

                Hey guys i have few points i want to clear before buying....FZS or FZ 16

                1. How much milage it gives in day to day commuting and on highway...
                2. In long term any issues regarding performance and smoothness.

                    FZs usually give around 45kms/l on highways. In city it will come down to 35kms/l or less (fellow FZians, correct me if I am wrong). Depends on the riding habits as well.

                    No major issues till date with my FZ that I bought in Jan 2009. Had to change the battery though.
                    FZ is a street fighter, so don't expect high top end speed.

                    I bought my FZ when I was Hyd . I still cherish those times when my FZ was the attraction on the road .

                    If mileage is an issue, I suggest SZ. Has the same FZ engine, but tuned for more mileage.

                      The mods are over and I just got back home. My bike got an angel eye with projector lights too
                      Total cost- 16150Rs.

                      I love my bike now. My mechanic did some magic I guess. I asked him whether he can do anything to change the sound and his reply was attaching a K&N. But he warned me that it the valve may get damaged soon. So, I dropped the plan.
                      But he did something as my bike roars at 4-5K rpm. I am addicted to the sound.. What could have been done?

                            This kind of burning smell comes only during monsoons. I noticied this last year also. Not much of a big issue. Clean and wipe your engine....make it free from all the mud and the smell is gone. Try it.

                              hi guys my bike has come with a problem in its rear tire i am uploading its pics.
                              my bike is 1 yr 5 mnths old will i get any warranty coverage on tire???

                                Dunno about MRF. Dunlop and Metro comes with one-year warranty only. MRF people are already notorious for rejecting warranty claiming its user fault.
