  • That's an amazing looking Angel eye setup there!
Bangalore - !! Please help me with the details -and directions to the person who can do it reliably!

    Apart from this -
    Fz-ians:

Please check your Engine oil levels at closer intervals!

Another fellow xbhpian - has already faced too much trouble - starting with "No Engine Oil - post Service!"

Anyway - It would be best if we check the oil more often - otherwise also!

Just to keep our bikes happy - and have a trouble free ownership experience!
Glad to see - so many fellow Fz-ians here, and all running just superb! (except for minor plusses/minusses!)

    Keep revving!

"Well my suspicion is that the fellow xbhp member did his run in with semi synth oil... i am no expert but i guess it is advisable to do the run in and atleast 1st 2000 kms with mineral post run-in and then later shift to semi/full synth if someone wants as mineral oil is comparatively heavier gives better lubrication especially at a stage when the metal part of the piston rings (read big-bore) are setting in!!"

UPDATE: xbhp member Boon: confirmed posting today that it was the stupid SVC morons who didn't fill the engine oil to the correct level leading to catastrophic engine seizure. So much so that even after receiving replacement parts were received from Joel for Free, the camshaft and other internals were already a goner. The poor guy is now busy literally getting the engine rebuild from the scratch. I say to everyone including guys with the stock bike... make sure that you don't believe the SVC guys blindly and always try to be around when your bike is getting serviced especially when the engine oil is being poured!!
                                -------------------------------------------------------

Today just for the heck of it, i pushed my bike really hard and it did hit 117 kmph but that was the max it could do on the speedo.. Just want to check with fellow mates what speeds have they achieved using 15T sprocket set up??

                                Cheers
