Why dont u buy a more performance bike than spending a lot of money for a small change??? Every bike was built for a specific purpose...

How many kms are thr on ur bike? I use Petronas 10W40, started using it after 12k kms on the odo.. its super awesome

Now is it possible to fit on clip on handle bars same as those on yamaha R-15 and P-220 ? I'm very much interested in getting it,it feels more sportier.
Just when I was trying to draw a pic of Fz with that handlebar installed one thing clicked my mind that as side panels of yamaha are big so will it even be possible to take turn ?

@ ABZ: If one can avail better power at a fraction of a cost compared to daytona kit, then why not! Agreed every bike has been designed for a specific purpose.

But most of the time they have been detuned or held back from the performance they are capable of delivering.. and that's where experience modders like Joel anna come into place, pushing the boundaries, providing powerful yet reliable performance in the market...
i love my FZ very much but always feel bit disappointed on the highways when i know it for the fact that this bike is capable of doing higher speeds but only restricted by its motor when it comes to top end.. Please don't feel offended bro, just sharing my views.

Perfectly replied by shv18.. & to realy see what Joel can do to your bike at a realy negligible costs, have a look at the thread linked by shv18 in his reply.
Cant afford a performance bike as of yet, but can afford the simple mods by joel & hopefully gain enough power to cruise easily on highway at high speeds at low rpms beacause i love to tour on my FZ & engine is stressed too much above 100 as we all know.. I have no other requirement for performance, dont need it for racing, or stunting, or ripping, just marginally high speed cruising say 100 kmph stress free

But anyways I had an email conversation with Joel personally & he assured me he'll get back to me as soon as he work out something perfect for FZ like he offers for R15..
I'm sure when he offers his goodies for FZ, many of us would run down to him.
SO far i haven't seen any news on joel modified FZ on xbhp atleast

As of now he is only providing Performance Exhaust... but soon enough the Doktor would be ready for a fresh transplant for FZ Owners... I shared the link with you only to show that Joel is in plans for 180 cc FZ bolt on Kit... that has been posted by him on that thread.. The only thing i want in my bike is effortless cruising 120kmph all day long, don't want to go for or win drag races or anything.

Lost yamaha logo sticker @ Tail End

Hi Guys,

Someone plucked out my yamaha logo sticker from the Tail End. It looks kind of naked now

I am really mad about it

, Can we get the sticker from the SVC?

I have no idea how people can do something so heinous to something so beautiful!

yes you can get it at the cost of rs 30 from svc

Yeah bro i thought its just a link to that thread but clicked it nevertheless & was indeed surprised to see joel's plan & all the discussions for FZ upgrades.. Sadly enough, Joel had mentioned in July 2009 ( i.e way before i even got my baby FZ & my FZ is more then a year old now ) & he'll carry on the needful work on FZ within nxt 2 months but I guess he has been too busy offlately. ANyways we have no option but wait patiently.
PS: I enquired just for the FFE for FZ bro, & it may come as surprise to you but so far even the FFE is not available from him.
Even I need the top end for cruising all day effortlessly, but 120 kmph all day long effortlessly would be too optimistic dont you think ? Anyways, if thats possible with even a mod upto 15 k, i'm game for it

Welcome to the club bro, Dont stress out though.. theft of FZ logos especially the rear one is quiet common & you will easily get it from any of the bigger Yamaha SVC in your area for aroun 25 bucks each.. You would be surprised to see the range of stickers they keep for R15 & FZ in their stock & earn quiet a lot on it too i guess

Joel always tends up to undersell his FFE's atleast thats the case with FFE's for P220, R15's.. He says we can easily expect minimum of 10% performance boost (Not sure if its low end performance or high end boost) alongwith increased fuel efficiency.
But if you go by the reviews of hiss FFE users, it gives you a lot more then you expect & people wonder how can just an FFE change radical ychange the performance so much..
Whatever it is, I just need a marginal boost in my top end which is approx 120 if stretched out completely & i need it to be somewhere around 130 atleast on speedo.. This might be acheiveable wit the FFE
