Dude.. 140/80 wont fit with the rear tyre hugger. the max u can have there is 140/70, which still runs pretty close to the hugger. Price in Pune for that spec for Pirelli Sport Demon is nearly 4000.

I saw 2 posts recently one fitted Sports demon 140/80 and another fitted the MRF 120/80...

choke(starter)

Hi guys..my question is kind of silly ..

can any of you tell me which side the choke(starter) is ON/OFF, i mean UP or DOWN..??
i read it in the manual that its not good to put the choke on for a long time..
Plz help me out..

putting it down i.e. towards urself is switching it on and putting it up i.e. away from u is turning it off

Guys one of my frnd modded Fz to Fazer,so I thought to mod my also.What effect will it have on my Fz??will top end get reduced??Any bad effect will it have??

& also guys I want to buy a pair of good gloves.so buying it from orion motors bangalore will be a good point or where can I buy good pair cost effective gloves in bangalore??

Is it? Dunno yaar... the I have a 140/70 and all I can say is that the hugger will have to be removed if a 140/80 has to be installed.. there's just no space in there for such a profile..

And 120/80 should fit in nicely I reckon...

I have the sport demon installed, a very tiny bit of the huger has to be cut, you will hardly notice the cut part.... actually u wont

.... even a child could cut it out

I have rode FZ and I own a Fazer , What I feel is under traffic condition FZ is best for its flexibility and in layman language Zig-Zag movements we used to make....

But with Fazer every day in Traffic someone will hit your mirror at front everytime in those congested areas.

and you cant make those zig-zag movements you want to make.

Pls note: This is my opinion, but it also depends on Drivers ability too

Bro no offence but on my recent run to pondicherry and back I found that Bangalore riders are slightly better when it comes to lane shifting or cutting across ... not so much zig-zag movements ...

Well I crashed because of this very same zig-zag movement you talk about ... although it was a TVS-50 and because i know the language got off without trouble .

@cscsarkar331 : it wouldn't drop your speed but might increase it slightly because of that fairing ... If the mod is done well I don't see any problem ... as both the bikes are completely the same otherwise . If you get any further details on this please let me know i'm interested in it too ... only the SVC pricetag of 7k is a deterrent ...

Which pirelli did u fit the 140/70 or /80??

A few hours back I called the guy u gave the no. Poona motors n he told that MRF is 2500 while Pirelli 4500....

No kidding the price tag is soo high so am thinking of settling for MRF Revz.

hai all fz owners.I need suggestion for engine oil. Confused to buy either petronas xxw40 or motul 15w50. If any other brand and grade is good for fz then please tell me..

8k is huge ... did your friend get it done from SVC or from elsewhere ?

Orion motors , has DSG gloves ...
