claiming insurance on bent rims might be a bit difficult, if i'm not mistaken there was some comments quite a few threads back on this very same issue, and how insurance companies had stopped accepting claims on bent rims... unless of course u can prove u have been in an accident and produce the FIR and stuff...

guys (esp in b'lore),
i need to give my FZ for her first free service tomorrow, and i'm a little perplexed abt where to give.
Panache motors is closest, but i've heard a lot of negative stories abt them... Orion motors at Koramangala also, some mixed reviews.
Any thoughts on which might be a good service centre? Or atleast the lesser of all evils?

Help needed
Hey Folks please help me I've dismantled the tachometer but I can't figure out where are the LED's ! I am thinking of changing the design of that black paper that is fixed on the LCD display.

The guy has now quoted a fresh estimate of around 4.6K with 1K of labour charge included (3.6k + 1K). This includes a lot of things which I will post after getting the bill. It's been just 2 days and I just can't live without my bike. Anything that comes in my mind has got something to do with the bike. I am using dad's 25 year old Kinetic Honda (yeah, not kidding) for now. Feeling very bad. I just hope my baby gets back to her former glory. See,the fairing bit(front only which circles the headlights) is Rs.700.
The mirror is approximately Rs.320.
The inner fairing part at the first pic is Rs.38(Yeah 38)
The right side fairing is Rs.320.
And..the biggest one..the headlight doom(Glass part) is Rs.3k plus
All these prices are here in bangalore BTW..
So as you see it's nowhere near 7k..good luck with your repairs..I understand how much it hurts to see your baby in pain

Currently Joel Anna hasn't prepared both for FZ hence, not in the list. It is not possible for me to do a 2000kms ride every now and then for upgrades stage wise and also for the cost joel has quoted, it is simply irresistible for me not to do so....
