In city, as you said previously you can tilt a bit and use one leg when stopping, anyway you need to use one only while stopping []. Unlike other bikes, FZ got great balance (you rode it na??) and is steady even at dead slow speeds. So ........

Ya i have test drive the bike and i loved the bike...!!!And ya i am confident that i am going to master it in few months..And i don't want a bike to do stunts or to race fast....i want a Bike becoz i love it(FZ16)...I AM ALWAYS GOING TO DRIVE SLOW AND SAFE....Hope things go well.!!

And one more thing to ask that...i heard that Yamaha service centers can lower the fz16 suspension to lower the bike height,is it true????does that harm my bike or its average? You anything abt it???would you suggest it???

I guess "Helios" has installed Daytona Kit. He will be the correct person to answer your question about the performance of his FFE.

HELLO! that's me FFE if you travel on the highway better go for it! Cause it improves your top end by a good margin! But city rides and all will be made more fun when you remove the db killer you cant expect that kinda improvement in performance inside city boss but can expect a bit more grunt and torque in the mid range!! The kit just adds on to the strength of the bike (which is its mid range torque)

the answer is in bold given by yourself.....
gr8... go for the beast it will serve you well....
yeah the rear monoshock is adjustable.....
it wont have any effect on the bike or its average....
you might have to take real slow on horrible speed bumps when you are with an overweight pillion thats it no other problem with it....

                enjoy the ride....

got a cushion grip for the bike's handle bar today.... feels good and since i use gloves while riding the grip has increased....

i will suggest you to ask the showroom people itself how much lower can you do it...
after that buy the bike and see if you are comfortable with the factory settings if you are not then you can go for a ride height adjustment...
the service center itself will do it you wouldnt have to go any other mechanic...

THANK YOU FOR THE INFORMATION'S SIR...AND WHAT TOY SUGGEST ME TO GO FOR???YAMAHA FZ16 OR FZ-S???Which of these bike would give me life time performance and comfort..fz16 is the original bike where as fz-s is new version.!!!

One more thing to ask you is that..whats the difference in fz-s and fz16..i mean i read the brochure of the bike and i found out that fz-s height is little big than fz16...

                      FZ-S OVERALL HEIGHT=1,085mm
                      FZ16 OVERALL HEIGHT=1,045mm...

So does it mean fz-s has little bigger height???

one thing.... it is NOT a TOY
and dont call me sir.... i am still a student.....

the only difference between the FZs are
                        the paint job
teeny tiny visor on the headlight
may be the ride height as said
and the extra 2k bucks you have to pay....
the engine and other performing parts are the same...

the way i chose mine was because of the color nothing else and the fact that i dont like the visor....

the headligh cheeks are different on both fz-16s are flat and fz-s' are bulging....

visor has nothing to do with the ride height....

                            • sahil is talking about the overall height of the bike for which the visor matters. and what is ride height?
