Hi buddy,Originally posted by shv18 View Posthi,
how old is your bike. Has it done the 1st servicing yet?? If not i suggest finish off your 1k and the 1st service and then have a feel of your bike's gear and engine. When it is new you will find it bit ruff as the parts are still setting in. I had a round of false gears as i was nearing 1k, but after the 1st servicing, the bike was butter smooth.
Hope this helps
cheers mate
this has been happening from day one. I have crossed 1k and got my service done. I even got my oil changed to motul ss due to which the engine has become smooth but the hears are still clunky as always:-(
Ps : really appreciate the quick reply bro:-)

Ride for 200 kms more and see if there is any change. If not then get it checked at the showroom.Originally posted by rylan View PostHi buddy,

If you soften the suspension, the ride characteristics of the bike will change. I personally haven't tried these settings but it is certain that the bike's eagerness to take those quick corners will go for a toss if the rear suspension is on the softer side. However, the ride quality on bad roads should improve marginally.Originally posted by Sahil Shah View PostActually i want to lower ride height of my bike...!!!i went to yamaha showroom for having a info abt it and they told me that we can only do is that we can make ur rear suspension soft....he told me tht there are three type....

I believe others can throw a better light on this. If i were you , i would leave the factory setting the way it is.Last edited by shv18; 01-12-2011, 01:53 PM.A quote by a toilet, " use me well, keep me clean, i would never tell anybody whatever i have seen.." :P

bro that white colour u mentioned is only for indonesia edition not for india.but u can custom paint it as u like it.Soft suspension can give xcelent feedback while riding alone in bad roads but if u r doubling than the bike can easily bump in speed breaker or bad roads.I myself have a soft suspension setup & it fells awesome riding alone.Originally posted by Sahil Shah View PostActually i want to lower ride height of my bike...!!!i went to yamaha showroom for having a info abt it and they told me that we can only do is that we can make ur rear suspension soft....he told me tht there are three type....

I have already covered roughly around 150km, and by the time u read this i would have covered another 100 or more for today, but i see no improvement whatsoever. I think i'm off to the svc guys and hopefully get this resolved. :-)
