the drum is closed, so the hole is like a vaccume place,
it did't even have any dust inside,
no dust will enter to drum bro,Originally posted by Mindgrinder View Postdude, how does it effect anyways drum runs close to wheel, i don't think if tiny dust enters it will effect the brake performance.
its closed....
it has Five hole in rear alloy, so its like a ventilation system,
if dust comes from one hole it will go out from any of the rest of holes.
here is the pic of that hole, i think the guy who started this discussion is talking about this one

Guys you all know about FZ's Rear seat, its really a pain, if you are sitting as a pillian
and even mums and GF's don't want to sit at that "Slope"
so I want to install a split seat,as shown in this image,

Don't know about the rear seat dude, I mostly do solo, but even the riders seat is not that comfy for long rides. Have been doing back to back rides, returned yesterday night from a 500 KM ride and I have a sore a$$.Originally posted by Anjit_Sharma View PostGuys you all know about FZ's Rear seat, its really a pain, if you are sitting as a pillian

What Speed??
Is it a problem if one does continuous riding on High Speeds?? Specially when doing a long distance journey?? Its a general question for any 150 cc Bike.
Some time back, I did a 450 KM single day ride. I maintained a speed between 100-110 KMPH for some 60 KMs and 90-100 KMPH for some 120-140 KMs. No breaks in between.
This weekend we did 250 KM one way ride (overal 500 KM) in 2 days. 2 RTRs, my Fuzzy and a 3-4 year old unicorn. We all were doing constant 90-100 for atleast 150 KMs.
The general question was, is it safe for our engines?? Since yesterday my Fuzzy is smelling.
Please suggest.

I don't think the HOLE you are talking of should cause any problem. You see it is the outer wall of the wheel, there is another sealed wall for the brake drum. I don't think a company like Yamaha will do something like that, & I have also noticed such holes in wheels of SBK's too.

Any Updates on this? Did you show it to ur mechanic?Originally posted by speedaholica View PostIts the same in my case except i get them below 60 too.
This exactly happens in my case too.
No, in my case the vibrations do come back, but lesser in intensity. It seems we have more than less the same problem.SAVE TIME....SEE IT MY WAY
