Good to know you are satisfied with your bike.
I recall you mentioned that you get the service done at Muthoot.
I'm getting all maintenance done at Hilton, Ulloor.
How's Muthoot, I'm thinking of having the hiccups checked at Muthoot.
Your bike is a part of you....

I think it really depends on your gear shifting pattern.. I have noticed it too.. if I shift initial 2-3 gears too early, it gets a little harsh on the top gear and one can feel the vibrations even at the speed of 80-90..

Whenever that happens, I reduce the speed to a complete halt, set to neutral and start off again, shifting the gears between 4.5K-5.5K and it gets back to its usual smoothness again most times...

Muthoot better than Hilton from my experience. There is a white, spec-wearing Service Advisor. He is good.

        • Hi,

Has anyone insured their bike with private companies like ICICI or Reliance?

My insurance is due for renewal next month and I wanted to know how your experience has been with these companies.

The lamp specifications are, please note it will be a twin set up not single.

            Voltage : 12V
            Length : 140 mm
            Height : 66.1 mm
            Diameter : 90 mm
            Lamp Type : Fog
            Bulb Type : H3

It is fitted with 55 W H3 halogen bulbs.
If you want to use the HID and the two halogens together it might be a problem.... But since they are fog lamps and your hid is 43k i am assuming you wont be using them together.... Because 43k hid is useless for fog riding..... I would say first go ahead with the mod try it for a couple of days check the voltages at the battery terminals see if it is gong below if it is you can go for a bigger battery lke a 7 or 9amph battery...

Its probably your race bearing kit.maybe it doesn't stay tighten anymore, time to replace it.

                          • Has anyone faced battery problem ? 1 of the cell of bike's battery has been damaged.I have talked to the service center about it.Just wanted to know how many of us have ever faced such problem regarding battery. He told me that many FZ users complain about the stock Minda battery and it has problems.

                            P.S: I am using Hella Redgrills+Philips Crystal Vision (55/60)

Get the bike to the service center, this might need opening up the carburetor.
