    i just got my thrd service done a couple of weeks ago...there seems to be no problems with my bike...acceleration seems smoother than before and mileage is still round the 38-42kmpl mark...so is it sumthin u guys asked the svc to manipulate in the AFR or the carb to lean or sometin like dat???

    @ Ranjith also heard bout ur gear shaft prblm on the other thread ...so have u gotta replace it?? got a second opinion yet??

        no i dint ask them to mess with my carb...they did what i dint ask them to do and they dint do what i asked them to do!

        yeah i have to change it,JD gave me some suggestions and i have try them...might go to another SVC for a second opinion too.

                hehehe u are totally correct....at time it goes bonkers.....but u get a general idea bout ur fuel condition.....

                      Is limited edition FZ's tank panel available??? I would like to convert mine to pearlescent white. Whole job was estimated at 5k with Corolla's original paint and excellent finishing with clear coat. Is it worth investing 5k for paining or should I go for LE tanks if it is available????

                        The tank pads would be available but the svc would have to obtain them from main offices. The side panels can be changed for around Rs.800. You then need to spray paint the centre panel or do a white painting job yourself.
                        5k would be too costly.

                            You mean the visor? I fixed it into my FZ16. The visor itself costs around Rs120. The total bill after fixing it came around Rs410

                                I had enquired at the dealership. The full conversion to FZS includes the visor, its brackets, the number plate brackets, the "forehead" of the headlamp and the "cheeks" of the headlamp. The total cost comes up to 1.5k. Not worth it, IMO.
