You will not believe what i am using now. I used have stock 35W buld but changed to normal 55W bulb. But again changed it to Philips Diamond Vision 5000k which is White with little blue tint. Did not get caught though. Just raising the bar changed to 6000k HID. Still no problem with cops Now finally raised the bar to Projector with HID with Angel eye ring. HEE HAA... but still perfecting the light spread, its not that easy. BUT LOOKS SEXXY..

It might be that the brake shoe is too tight, loosen the brake a little it will be OK. Even i am using Iridium. I am just satisfied though.

                    • Hey Guys, Got my bike from the service center last saturday since then have put in about 250 KM and have noticed a couple of things that have changed since the accident -

                      1) The bike is a bit louder. No more is the smooth buzz when in 2nd or 3rd gear at 20-30 Kmph. The noise actually is as if the bikes running 5-10 KMPH higher than it actually is (donno if I explained it properly, its now making the same noise at 20 KMPH at 1st that it used to at 25 KMPH at the same gear, and goes on till abt 85 KMPH)

                      2) Top-end seems to have come down. Didnt get to push it on a long straight but with the throttle turned all the way, I reached 104, felt that the bike could have hit 107-8 but not more than that. Surprisingly, the bike felt more stable than before.

                      3) The gears are louder than before

                      4) The mileage but seems to be better than before (earlier was 35, now around 38)

Overall, The bike feels thoda rougher than before

Any inputs as to why this is happening would be appreciated. Also, I have not changed the oil from what the service guys normally use. Should I change to semi-synth now? Total running has been abt 3300 K.

                      Thanks!

Was the exhaust assembly replaced? If not, it could be that it may be damaged internally and the vibration is strong.

You can use the semi-synthetic oil now.

By semi-synth do u mean the yamalube 15W50....wont it affect the bike's performance coz its of a higher grade....
i am due for an oil change ...so wanted to confirm whether we can use the yamalube or can i go for the Petronas 5000T 10W40????

What do u guys think would be a better choice????

i am not that sure bout the oils part of the bike...but i think the number on the end should never be changed...we use w40 and always w40 should be used whether it be semi or fully synthetic....
