Hey Guys, Got my bike from the service center last saturday since then have put in about 250 KM and have noticed a couple of things that have changed since the accident -
1) The bike is a bit louder. No more is the smooth buzz when in 2nd or 3rd gear at 20-30 Kmph. The noise actually is as if the bikes running 5-10 KMPH higher than it actually is (donno if I explained it properly, its now making the same noise at 20 KMPH at 1st that it used to at 25 KMPH at the same gear, and goes on till abt 85 KMPH)
2) Top-end seems to have come down. Didnt get to push it on a long straight but with the throttle turned all the way, I reached 104, felt that the bike could have hit 107-8 but not more than that. Surprisingly, the bike felt more stable than before.
3) The gears are louder than before
4) The mileage but seems to be better than before (earlier was 35, now around 38)
Overall, The bike feels thoda rougher than before
Any inputs as to why this is happening would be appreciated. Also, I have not changed the oil from what the service guys normally use. Should I change to semi-synth now? Total running has been abt 3300 K.
Thanks!

Was the exhaust assembly replaced? If not, it could be that it may be damaged internally and the vibration is strong.Originally posted by vinais View PostHey Guys, Got my bike from the service center last saturday since then have put in about 250 KM and have noticed a couple of things that have changed since the accident -

You can use the semi-synthetic oil now.

By semi-synth do u mean the yamalube 15W50....wont it affect the bike's performance coz its of a higher grade....Originally posted by iamvik View PostWas the exhaust assembly replaced? If not, it could be that it may be damaged internally and the vibration is strong.

i am not that sure bout the oils part of the bike...but i think the number on the end should never be changed...we use w40 and always w40 should be used whether it be semi or fully synthetic....Originally posted by N-o-v-i-c-e View PostBy semi-synth do u mean the yamalube 15W50....wont it affect the bike's performance coz its of a higher grade....
