      yep thts the prob....YAMAHA has only W50 semi and full synth even i had to hunt arnd for W40's outside!

        A weird thing has happened to me. My 3rd service was completed 2 weeks back. I was very satisfied with the service. Immediatly after service I got 52-54 kmpl mileage.
        Now at the same driving condition, same fuel, same air pressure, I get 37kmpl that too without any rash driving. What would be the problem. I didn't tell them anything during service i.e. issues like tuning, different oil...

        Please help me.
        Reduce 1 km/hr speed, add 1second 2 ur life.

          guy is got the air scoops and sticker above tail light the yamaha logos, the one on the meter is not available, Those sticker in total cost Rs. 97. Rs 41 for each air scoop sticker and tail light logo is Rs 12... well not very reasonable

            Hey..did you get them from delhi..? if yes..where did you get them from..i was looking for those for a long time for my R15.
            Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

              Just check if your choke is on. Because sometimes this tends to happen that you have forgotten. Also check your brake strength it might be too tight.

                did you get 50+ before or after the service?
                i was a victim of SVC detuning my carb at the 3rd service even though i dint ask them too...even someone else here had the same experience,so check the tuning.

                  the inevitable fall...

                  Finally the inevitable happened .. wet sand on the road and a skidding Fazer
                  , got couple of scratches on the front fairing. The scratches have cut to the paint primer and in some places deep enough to scratch the internal ceramic body.

                  I have really a bad heartache as I really value the 'scratch free' looks of my vehicle.

                  So how do I go about getting the scratches fixed ? Any good painter recommended ? who can touch it up ?

                  I am in NOIDA but will gladly travel to Delhi ... YELP !! YELP !! YELP !!

                    guys, i have a question. does the fazer cowling, headlight assembly, fairing fit into our fz? any idea how much it will cost? reason is fazer is not being sold here in the Philippines and the only option is to change the look of an existing fz.

                      I got 52 just after service. But considering detuning, I didnt feel any shortage in power delivery.
                      The only problem is I feel some sort of missing between gears, like when I change from 2nd to 3rd the bike feels like it is going to be off. Should I increase or decrease the tuning? I am confident I can do that by myself rather than going to the dumb svc

                        yes it is possible.Many ppl here have done it succefully,the SVC does it for around 6k Indian Rupees,not sure abt the price though.

                        So you got 52 right after service and now the mileage has reduced?
                        missing bet. gears...dont know really,check your Spark plug,if there is improper tuning the plugs might change color and ask your SVC itself to check the tuning,they should do a decent job since they do this a lot on FZs!

                            Anyone please suggest some good tankpads for my fz16?
                            Dont mind the looks, just want the protection. (like the r15 tank pad)

                                hi guys,

                                Well i posted several time that i am facing a problem with my bike that it's overheating on some 10-15km ride so what should i do also the bike become slugish noise after overheating but the operation is smooth. Is that normal or should i look for solution.
