OSRAM NB 55/60 is only slightly whiter than the normal halogens, its a direct fit on the FZ without any batt. drain.Costs around 600-800 depending on your region.Originally posted by dude_phenom View PostHey guys was there any answers to Novice's question?? Hmm. I know this question has been asked and answered many times, but I cant help it (especially for the FZ).Originally posted by RanjithMN View PostOSRAM NB 55/60 is only slightly whiter than the normal halogens, its a direct fit on the FZ without any batt. drain.Costs around 600-800 depending on your region.
No bad effect on the battery (as its only 12V 5A rated and the HL itself takes in 55W)??Everyone falls down, doesn't matter...

Mitz thanks for thatOriginally posted by mitz View PostThere was'nt much difference initially for about 50 kms after changing the oil so i was bit disappointed but after almost 400 kms of riding the bike, i can surely feel the difference as follows:
1) Engine is much more silent then before when i was using yamalube
2) Top speed has marginally increased by 5 kms
3) Acceleration is much much better, pulls great even in 4-5th gear
4) However engine does heat up more then before (No idea why)
5) But there is surely a drop in mileage from 38 kmpl to 33 kmpl (maybe this is due to my 2nd free service)
PS: I & my frnd (FZ-s owner) switched oil to castrol power1 simultaneously last month & gotta tell u that we both are much happier with it then we were with yamalube
anyone else used Castrol power1?
I mailed the company.....no reply, mailed DSG....no reply.Originally posted by dude_phenom View PostUpdate on my butt moving NGK Iridium query. All the dealers listed for two-wheelers do not sell plugs for two wheelers any more

Hi,Originally posted by shark80 View PostWhy do you need a helmet lock? there is one already on Fz. If you lift the seat, you will find a hook beneath, you can hook your helmet strap into it and Lock the seat. Your helmet is safe. You dont have to use those ugly locks.
I already know that and have been using it since first time I bought this machine. But I can't keep the helmet of my pillion anywhere and have to carry 1 helmet with me always

I had a call with DSG guy and Iridium plug is available there. As I'm in Pune, I called several good stores here before buying the Iridium plug for my bike from Castrol Bike Zone, Shivajinagar.Stabl'ised by: BlackCat (FZ-16), BlackBird (ThunderBird)
