Hii... I wanna know more about this <=50 kmph rule.. As i had got my bike last week
and at times I have crossed 5k rpm and speeded upto 70-90 kmph..
.Any problem with this????
and Even I am facing the same thing on my FAZER (same engine as FZZ)
It heats up and I can feel d heat and some burnt Oil like thing after I stop the bike ...

its ok if you have the occasional burst breaking this rule but dont make it a habit,try to follow the rule as much as possible.
A new engine heats up more and the smell is normal!
so just dont worry and get through the tough period of Run-In!

According to my friends installing NGK Gpower gives better mileage than the stock plug in the Fz-s which is also NGK ! So can someone throw light on this ? Model number ? Price ?Presently own :

I think kinshuk or Binoy had tried the G-Power. CPR8EAGP-9 is the part number. Also I think they got a small increase in mileage only, not a lot. Everyone falls down, doesn't matter...
But its how fast you get up, that matters.....

guys noob question , how do u remove the spark plug on the FZ ?
i'm having some trouble with the starting , first few attempts it gives a click sound wen the starter is pressed , then after a few tries it cranks ...

I've been using G-Power for quite sometime. Only a bit increase in mileage. Engine runs a bit smoother than with the stock NGK. Never took more than a crank till date to start the bike and no cold start issues till date. There is a wrench in the tool kit to remove the plug. Pull the cable connecting the spark plug. Put tha wrench over the plug and put the screw driver through its hole and turn it anticlockwise and its done. @rkakkar: I havnt felt any pain in the palms while riding the FZ - with or without gloves... but u must not ignore the safety provided by them...
@Guys looking for good FS engine oil - I'v tried Petronas, and its lovely!! dunno abt the other brands
