    The fairing helps in attaining little more top speed than FZ. My bike pulls upto 112 in 4th gear.

      ya jus testing my bike... yet to see wats the max it can reach... but i had a small issue with the bike... on one ride i reached 114... but after sometime during the same ride, the bike couldn even touch 100 through out the remaining ride... dont know wat was the problem...
      any idea y it could hav happened??

          Don't ride your bike at 100+ speeds for too long. Give it a rest for some 15-20 min after every 1 hour of 100+ speeding. Our engines are not oil cooled and so it requires rest at adequate intervals of time as the engine gets hot. It has happened with me and I give it enough rest by taking short breaks every 1 hour or so of 100+ ride.

            130 is super... that's the good thing with the win screen... but compared to FZ, Fazer is ~3kgs more i think which will result in the top end i guess... anyways 130 is awesome man...

            as your bike has only completed 2000kms it is natural... the same thing happend to me... we had a G2G ride on NH7 couple of months before... for the first time i hardly hit 105 on my speedo and with some distance covered the bike really started to take make up the speed and i touched 99 on my 4th gear and 122 on the 5th...
            i.e the bike dosen't pick up easily on the initial run if you rev it up and when the engine gets warmed up it will take up the speed...

                Before the service it was touchwood...now...
                Bike starts only at 2nd or 3rd crank(earlier it was 1st crank even in winters).....
                Idling is presently at 1300-1400rpm....

                It suddenly stalls on the highways and starts only after 5 min of rest.....
                Damn i m in the middle of traffic while the public is busy showering abuses and curses....

                Pick up has reduced marginally but the top end seems to get stuck at 104km/hr no matter what i do...again.....

                Also earlier the mileage was 38-40 typical.....but now its arnd 32-33.....

                I am unable to understand all this as being a result of a lean A/F ratio....
                Or is it a lean mix alongwith other possible probs?????

                Could anyone atleast speculate wats wrong here????

                @Novice as per you statement i would recommend you to give the bike for servicing at another SVC or take to a good mechanic and check the carb is tunned properly...
                it seems the A/F ration is bit lean that's why the bike don't starts even after 3 or more cranks...
                when i give my bike for servicing i will tell the supervisor never(say BOLDLY) fiddle with the carb tuning...
                GUYS...HELLOOOOOO....
                Anybody patient enough to guess what cud be the problem other than carb tuning....i mean any other scenario which involves more than one screws up part....

                Or is it only wrong carb tuning....
                come on guys i need to catch those SVC people and ask them to act upon suggestions given by you all....

                  ya i dint ride it for long.. jus some 30 mins in that top speed.. after that was around 80 only...

                    my best is 99kmph... but @soumya_digi said he has done 114kmph in the 4th gear on his fazer... buddy your bike is some 2000+ odd kms, isn't??? reaching upto 80/90/above in the 4th cog needs high revving of the engine... don't attempt to rev it that higher which is not good for the piston/piston ring etc.(commonly engine) coz you have not completed the runin period(personally i take run in period as 3000kms)... never ever attempt the motoman's runin type style, those are not for our mopeds(all indian bikes)ride her sainely for a couple of kms and after all FZ is not a high revver like R15...

                          My bike was kanna for about 5months! But after fitting the LEDs, I keep the HI-LO beam switch in the middle to make both the bulbs glow!

                          If you like Fazer, then go for it.

                              Hey Novice, Carb tuning is one part of the problem (and probably the only one). Another one that I can think of is a faulty spark plug.. Do you have any misfires?? This happened after your 5th Service right?? Translates into 8k to 10k?? Might wanna check out the spark plug and the colour of the deposit on it. IIRC a light brown is the correct colour, Black is bad. Not too sure. Please check it out online. Will update if I find any thing.

                              Now getting really paranoid, Check out the air filter too for any blockages.
