If things have gone nasty post your SVC visits, shoot a mail to Yamaha.

I didnt fall bro, its the same from the day of delivery, one of my friend(owns a fz) noted it , and the local mechanic confirmed it. No matter what how much i justify with SVC, they blame me for everything, and yesterday the way the SVC guy talked with me was plain rude, i was in the verge of having a fight with him. I will ask the SVC guy to check the handle bar too during fork error correction, if they are not listening am gonna shoot a mail to yamaha and wont visit that particular SVC ever again for service.

Will the warranty be void if i change my handle bar with a help of local mechanic? or can i go to another service center of yamaha to rectify my handle bar?
    thanks bro!!

@All thanks for clearing my doubts patiently, i am at peace now after your clarifications. Thanks a lot guys, thanks for the time you guys spent on helping me out

Go to a different SVC and ask for their opinion. Although, each SVC will simply put up their hands and say that, the other SVC hasn't done the work properly.

IMO, shoot a mail to Yamaha and your work will be done with utmost care.

Change the handle bar at SVC and not from local garage.

      Cheerz!!

On the warranty scenario i will give you an example, 2 years back one of my friend purchased honda unicorn, one day he came to my house to show his new bike, iasked him why he has not fixed the crash guard and it should be fixed as early as possible so both of us reached the showroom for crash guard, the showroom guys were as usual busy with there own work and didn't gave any attention and when i raised my voice one guy came and told us that crash guard were out of stock, i told him that we will fixed the crash guard from outside, to my surprise the guy said if we did this thing then the bike warranty will be void, i said what the hell how can bike warranty will be void am i purchasing an engine part, after some arguing loud shouting and after talking to senior sales man our problem was solved, so that's the kind of warranty these idiots provide so don't worry of warranty what max can happen if the warranty voids you have to spend your own money nothing more than that.

DIY LED tail lamp in progress. Still 20% work remained. Could not wait to show it to u guys.
Number plate illumination & final connection is not yet completed. Also few LEDs need replacement. Hopefully it will be ready by next week end.

My hunk is giving me a lot of trouble so I am thinking about selling it and buying either an Fz-16 or an Fzs. How much mileage it city riding conditions should I expect? How are the brakes? And any common complaints or problems I should be aware of?

If ridden sanely, you can get mileage of 40+ kmpl also, Brakes are good.

If you have the budget, have a look at FZ V2.

How reliable is the v2's fi system and is it worth the extra cost?

Yamaha bikes are hassle free and they don't go kaput so soon. R15 is FI and the bike is a gem.

Take a TD and you will come to know the difference between a carb'd bike and FI bike.
