I have a question. Is the R15 rear sprocket smaller than the FZ's. If yes will swaping it with FZ's alter the gearing? What is the price and how much is the difference will it make in terms of the topspeed? Please help me out.

Rust!
I just got my bike last week and I've noticed a slight rust formation in the front fork at the first junction.
Can anything done about it like bringing it up during my first service?Always assume the other guy will mess up - Ride Defensively!Comment

I guess that is due to purchasing it in the monsoons. IIRC lot of forum members were developing rust on the discs this time last year. Better to remove it using a rust remover (or worst case lemon juice + baking soda) asap. Do not wait till 1st service. Hi guys... Am frm coimbatore, tamil nadu. I have booked my FZ16 on july 30th but still i didnt get my bike frm the showroom. They r telling load is not yet come here. When i was booking they told me within 2 weeks they will call. And now they r telling bike is demand allover tamil nadu..
I jus want to know is this true...??? 
1. Plz tell wat r all points i need to see while delivery of my bike...??
2. Will they give any manual for the bike..??

no the R15 has 42 teeth and the FZ16 has a 40T rear sprocket , the sprocket costs i'm not sure , some said 210 and some said 400rs ... it will reduce your topspeed but will get more acceleration ...Originally posted by freekoo View Post

Thinking about a little extras on ma Fz-s
1. Installing NGK iridium plug
2. Fitting a 3 piece steering ( I wonder if any body tried and the response)
3. I got HID xenon 35 watts 6000k,

Just do a thorough inspection of the vehicle. Make sure there are no scratches and any rust formation anywhere. If present get them removed. Check the manual and the engine and chassis numbers. Check no. of kms done and fuel in tank. And also check the oil level and electrical systems for proper functioning.Originally posted by vivekfz View Post

FZ's spark plug
Hey guys,
Was away on a 1600 km journey on bike. Came back and read the posts.
One thing I'm too curious about, the people are saying that they have installed NGK-G Power in their FZs. But as far as my brain can remember, our FZs come with G-Power installed as Stock!! So, I don't know if the stock spark plugs are now changed to conventional ones by Yamaha or I've read something wrong.
I've changed my spark plug from stock to Iridium 1 year ago n it does gets that performance upgrade.
