        Hi,

I had a scooty once......everytime I press the horn on FZ....its like deja vu!!!

        • Hi Mates!!!

Change of Job made sure I couldn't visit the site which has made sure that I got the right machine (my FZ-S) and all the advices I got to keep it up and running!!!..................how are all my fz mates doing??.........just gave it for service and was again given a shock...........the nearby SVC charged me 1000 bucks for all the things that the stupid dealer from where I got the bike would have done for 2500 or more........... Don't know why yamaha can't see what is the after sales experience of people?? but after the speedometre and poor service incident I wowed never to get back to that SVC come what may........and today m very happy for my decision......they almost made me part ways with my machine.........its just that it managed to go on and on and made sure my heart was in place and I changed my mind......the same way when I saw it first..........poor yamaha can't make sure people retain retain the awesme products they provide!!!
Anyway would be getting my bike at 7 today and still love every km spent on her!!!

Can you provide more info on which is the Bad SVC and the good SVC. Might help other Delhi bikers here.

And what made the bill go to 1k or 2.5k Please tell me it was a paid Service. Even then I cant imagine it being so high. 2.5k is car territory...
            Everyone falls down, doesn't matter...
But its how fast you get up, that matters.....

Also I would like to add here that the SVC that I take my bike to is awesome here in Pune. In fact I picked up my bike 2 days ago after an accident and it drives like a brand new machine now.

Would also like to get info abt the horn. I was planning on putting in Fazer dual horns but SVC wont do it coz it needs some rewiring. they told me to get it done in Nanapeth but i dont want non SVC mechs to touch the electricals on the bike. Any suggestions about single horns that wont kick the battery's ass?

Hey which service center do you give your bike to??

an hid is a direct fitment on the fz.... you can go for an h4 one 35w color temperature less than 4300k (above that are available but illegal)..... there are also bu xenons available in h4 which are like two hids one for low and one for high beam.... but fitting an hid on a stock reflector is illegal you might get caught..... to avoid that you can go for a projector as well....

dont know the reason why it is illegal may be because its just too bright for the on coming vehicles.... and color temperatures above 4300k are illegal because they pierce the eyes and causes irritation....

no changes are to be done for wiring and battery.... its a direct fit....
