Guys had done my 9th(paid) service at 16337km on ODO..so the bill came like this:=
1>Bolt( i dont have any idea for what & which bolt)-22.80
2>Left handle bar lever small rubber cover-11.00
3>oil filter-35.00
4>element assy,air filter-840
5>tank oil cap plate-44
6>clutch cable-89
7>damper clutch-48.02
8>New battery from amco-1100.10
9>clutch cable cover-38.61
10>LABOUR CHARGE-77.21
11>Chain cleaning & lubrication-71.70
12>service charge-330
13>battery recharge-44.12
14>Yamalube(1.2)-324

So the final cost came Rs.3077..Abit costly on the paid service charge.
But could not enjoy the bike after service as becoz of the bangalore weather.
Fully cleaned bike at the time of delivery is now a fully Mud & muck covered bike when I reached home.

**p.s-all prices are including tax..

I dont know about that but in the bill it is mentioned in QUANTITY=4 no.s
BTW how much is the airfilter??

It's 210 only. They charged for 4. Go get money back

Hope so. Seems they charged extra for charging the battery. It's inclusive of battery price at outside vendors plus discount for returning old battery for disposal. Or is it they charged old battery to check its dead or not??? Why Amco from them?? Lots of better maintenance free available outside (Amaron was 1.2k only here with 4 year warranty (2 year replacment))

They charged the old battery.I bought the amco as I was getting very late for my home & I had to wait for the bike srvc for 5 hours at the office so lost all my patience.Any way will check how this battery will fare.any way there is 18 months free replacement for the amco.Hope every thing will be fine.

can any one tell me the alternate size option of the rear tyre without effecting the rear mudguard i want size lower than stock one means <140/60

Hey you can try mrf zapper vyde 120/80 tl tyre, i am also using the same since my stock tyre bursted due to a f...ing freak local repairer just at 1600 kms on my odo..... The tyre is good without any problem regarding fitting with the mudguard but the height of the bike increased about a bit....a boon when u overcome speedbreakers (bumpers)

Today went to the SVC for explanation...to my amaze they took it grantly as their mistake on 1st go,And after sometime refunded me back 630 bucks for the air filter..

Now I am happy...They are unhappy

Get a mech guys,Keep your service cost low!
My service at 17K costed 1000rs i.e including cost of OIL,Oil Filter & Brake Pad!

Hi cscsarkar
Many of the things you could have done it by yourself. There are threads available for these DIY jobs. Also Rs.23 for a bolt, can you ask them which bolt it was? Also what is Tank oil cap plate & why it was replaced?
Try going in DIY mode next time...

what chain lubes do you guys use other than motul i am currently using motul but it got over i feel that the motul is not very vfm
i need some suggestions guys
