Secondly the Mono shocks & looks of Fz & Fazer Both Impresses Me..
Thirdly The Bike Should Be Smooth At top Revs & Reliable

Wonder what it will be like when my bike gets complete upgrades from Joel
I guess you just need to change your gear shift pattern.. upshift at 7000 rpm and it would be much easier to hit the top speed and redline.. and yeah the faring on my Fazer does help in cutting the wind thrust..

I tried such upshifting and it seems to work, but as I said before, not much of a road to need such speeds.

I had a mishap yesterday. in a busy slow traffic a guy in innova car hit me from behind while attempting to overtake me from the left and I fell down, my helmet came under his rear tyre and slid to the side and I rolled over the edge of the road to avoid any vehicles. The traffic police stopped that guy when he tried to run away. Fortunately no damage to me as I was wearing my jacket, gloves, helmet and jeans. The guy just finished his +2 and had no control of the car. His parents were called and took the bike to service centre, got an estimation of damages and his dad paid up the amount including traveling charges for me to get the spares. I think that guy will never be allowed to ride that car again by the looks of it.

I had to replace the centre tail peice with the logo on it, front headlight cover, left side panel and get the bends on the fairing frame fixed and all ti cost about 2500rs including service. I am glad the bike escaped major damage.

And one more thing is the same people who used to criticize my safety gear now have come to appreciate the practical use of it and the funniest thing is all the riders near the place of accident were seen buying helmets the same evening. They have seen my head slide off the rear tyre without being crushed that is why I think.

I got the bike ready at 11.30pm yesterday itself. and yes I got the forks checked and all the bends straightened. Now the bike looks as new when it was out of showroom. I rode home 50km to home then itself since i had no other place to stay for the night. I went to the spares shop myself and got all the required items and had the job done. The mechanic is a good person and he is one of my bank's customers. And for the good job done I offered a few hundred bucks for the mech

One intersting fact that I found about the showroom guys. As I needed a vehicle to go around while mine was under repair, I requested a vehicle, if any, they could provide. The showroom guy offered the keys of a new fz. I noticed while riding that the odo was disconnected. So the conclusion is even if the odo shows you 0km when we receive our "brand new bike", it might have already run for a few hundred km.

Thankfully nothing serious happened to you . Let this news be shared with everybody so that each one of us understands the importance of safety gears and if not everything ,the most basic thing i.e. a good and strong helmet.
And by the way you were wearing which company's helmet , putting its name here might just boost up its sales ;-) :-D

Which type of petrol you use ?

I use IOC Xtra Premium but I had read somewhere on this forum that thise type of high octane petrol has some negative effects on the engine in the long run (I mean when used for many years not the touring long run :-D )

OMG!! Thank god you are safe... Riding gear is really essential as there are so many idiots on the road these days.. The whole of my office staff made fun of me when I bought the RJay's Swift jacket for 6K.. everyone took potshots at me for that purchase.. but I knew how important that investment was .. and guess what.. it has already helped me survive a few crashes already..

i use normal petrol mainly from the same indian oil pump near my home
indian bikes are designed to work on normal petrol
some say that permium fuel return better mileage just 1 or 2 km extra
