Also with nitrogen, the pressure remains constant and no visible loss. It is easily available in my town as there are many trucks and heavy commercial vehicles going through. It might be the reason I get better mileage figure than others i think.
Man you are getting "dream" mileage figures from your bike. If you think that having Nitrogen in your tyres and thus maintaining constant tyre pressure is a reason for you getting good mileage ,then I am ready to spend 1 rupee every morning to check my air pressure(usual air) everyday hehhee.

There may be other serious reason for your bike to give such mileage even at such speeds i.e. 65-75km/hr

          • Hey Guys Im going to buy a Bike on Diwali and im cofused between Pulsar 135 and Fz16 & Fazer..
Firstly Fz16 & Fazer Is Rumored(May be ) to have vibrations just above 80 while pulsar is smooth at its top speed.
Secondly the Mono shocks & looks of Fz & Fazer Both Impresses Me..
Thirdly The Bike Should Be Smooth At top Revs & Reliable
I Want A Bike For Daily Tutions , colleges(for which i will be using ahead in future) & for School... Please Guys Reply And Help ME

Pulsars remind me of the "KHADAK" sound while changing the gears, i wish you might have noticed that too... I have no idea about p135 but i have taken my fz upto 100 km/hr many times and no vibration on constant run.. beyond that i ripped it only once upto 112 km/hr rather I have ripped an RTR 160 beyond 100 and that was a vibratory experience.. and this forum must be vibes free for most of us..

AFR Not right and the engine idle set too low.. only probable reasons i can think of

                    Cheers

Clean the air filter, check the carburetor, have it cleaned if needed, check the petrol pipe, check the choke cable near the carburetor(sometimes not using it causes it to rust and similar things happen) replace if needed, finally check the trottle cable and replace if needed. Similar things happened to me on my CBF Stunner when I was not using choke for long time, it got rusted and engine kept stalling because of petrol not getting into the carburetor. Simple.

Chain assembly is making noise, and when complained the ASC manager suggested that its better to change as the vehicle has already 14K ... he was saying ideally it has to be changed after 12-14K
As per my knowledge the chain sprockets and chain would not go bad at 12-14K. It will be rusted for sure but that rust will disappear after you lubricate it properly.
Most of the SVC guys will tell you that your chain has gone bad at 12-14K and you need to replace it, but don't listen to them. You can check yourself whether your chain set needs replacement or not.

Make sure you tighten the chain first as per your requirement. Rotate the wheel and again check the chain slackness. If your chain sprockets and chain is gone bad then the slackness will differ when you rotate the rear wheel. This is the best and effective method to identify whether your chain sprockets and chain need replacement.
If it is not the case then just lubricate the chain properly and this should solve your problem.

Will check, never used choke ever

Another issue is tight accelerator. Cable is not the issue. Carb itself is tight. It becomes loose when its cold outside (early morning/midnight). Also it got altitude sickness. Hesitates to pull even in 1st

hey you still running on 15T to get such a mileage

even i have experienced this at low speed i guess 2nd gear only the engine goes off for a second or half a sec and without any hiccups it comes on just goes off for a second or half a sec and comes on without doing anything
engine idle rpm is correct at 1500
I haven't used choke for a month now
how do i check if its the problem with the AF ratio

Definitely the choke problem. Check the end of the choke cable at the carburetor. When not used the rust from the cable tends to block the petrol flow which in turn causes such problems. I tell you by experience as same happened to me once with stunner.

Looks like you can do with a complete carb clean-up, and also examine the cables throttle spring and replace if needed or get them thoroughly clean with petrol.
