Used it, Got performance. Thats what everyone tells about the iridium sparkplugs. I just passed on the info, which i think is correct. Do correct me if i'm wrong.Originally posted by iamvik View PostIt's not what you ride, it's your attitude that counts.

Hi guy's......I'm new to posting as I only came across this site in December.
With regards tyre pressure's........ stick to what's in your manual.
Yamaha state 28psi front 33psi rear. It's also stamped on the tyre by MRF
In my experiance anything harder or softer won't give the correct contact patch, will wear unevenly and affect the handling.
Hope this helps.Well-trained reflexes are quicker than luck

@All : guys...now that the topic going on is of the tyre pressure...i wanna ask you...
dont know whether its a problem or not....but whenever i fill air in tyres...it stays for too long....
i mean the pressure decreases only after a month or so....
like if i fill 35psi in rear tyre on 10th then it comes to 32-33psi only on the next 10th....
is this serious or am i wrong????
If you are in the market to look out for dual horns......then the fazer horns are definitely worth the 400 bucks spent....Originally posted by neermsc View Post.........nice idea.
.........but on a more serious note......do you think the fazer horns are worth 400 bucks???
I too am getting one of those......just that they are not available at the SVC
right now......so m waiting.....
Will notify you as soon as i get them....
Or maybe you can tell me if u get them first
...
cheers....Last edited by N-o-v-i-c-e; 01-28-2010, 12:26 AM.

The unreliability of the fuel guage is irritating to the extreme. Filled 2 ltrs a couple of days back and reset the trip guage to 0 as i usually do. Today morning the last bar starts blinking after only 45 K. I thought was duped by the petrol pump guy and giving him all sorts of abuses in my mind. 2 signals later it stops blinking, next signal - 2 bars!!
I dont know why yammy left this one spot in a otherwise awesome machine
.. The only place this fuel meter would be any more useless would be on a cycle!

dude..when u leave the bike on the side stand the fuel there is no contact of the fuel on the sensor due to the gravity moving the liquid within the tank...so that is why the guage gives a faulty reading sometimes...

To ride or not to ride?? is a....

i keep it at on and switch to reserve so that i know that after i switch i hve about 50kms of fuel on me....otherwise i wud lose track and end up without fuel in the middle of no where....

There is nothing wrong with it buddy... but the thing you must understand from this is that your tyres & alloys are now in good shape now... but i recommend to check your tyre pressure atleast once in two weeks(minimum)... coz when i bought my bike(which was at the release time), i asked the showroom & SVC guys how often we need to check the air... they told since its a tubeless one no maintenance is necessary...
the next words of mine would feel you WTF...
I first checked the air after 4 months of use...
coz no body told me about... even in XBHP, there were very few FZ owners at that time...
even after 4 months i didn't feel there was less air... after that the probs started taking...
so i would recommend every one to check the air pressure regularly... MRF guys told me a regularly maintained rear tyre will easily do 25000-30000Kilometers...

Dude i think fz16 comes fitted with g-powerOriginally posted by Binoy View PostI am currently using the NGK G-Power, don't find any difference in power, but the fuel efficiency has been increased to 2-4 km/ltr...
NGK has recently launched their Iridium IX and i am definitely going to buy that one... u can surely count on the mileage... with Iridium IX i think atleast 3-5 km/ltr will increase...
