Anyone noticed that Yamaha have changed the digital console on Fz and Fazer,I'm going to get it replaced soon.Yay ! XD

And I noticed that Yamaha service guys here use Savsol Engine oil ! o.O

I do remember seeing Revz on their website when I bought the bike. My bad on the Zapper-Q.

140/70 is the same as the PSD, sorry not the Revz. Miswrote last time.

Just contacted Sai Iyengar Tyre shop in HAL, Bangalore. Dude tells me "NO MRF tyres are in stock. They have a supply issue."

those dudes had the PSD wen i went there to fix up my tyre ... yeah but i did not see the MRF around ...

Got my bike back from servicing today (got the chain changed, feeling as good as new

) and I checked out the other bikes that they had in the showroom. The tyres on the FZ and Fazers were similar to the ones that I got in Mar 2009, but the ones on the showroom bikes' felt a lot softer.. dont know if they are changing the stock tyre brand (it was still an MRF, but I didnt check out which one). Tread pattern was similar to what the old ones were.

No ideas about the bridgestone bt045. Availability would vary from city to city i suppose.

guys i am having starting problems with my bike.....it does not start when i press the starter....the red "engine" light blinks but it does not start....i am confused whether its a battery problem or something with the starter.....after i push start it...it starts and works fine.....only the first start in the morning is a problem.....please help..

^^ Get the battery checked. How old is the bike? or do u leave it parked for days?

Brother, I've been facing self start problem for 2 weeks now. Mine is a cool story.
I once switched off the engine (RED button) on a signal while returning home from office. This is the only signal on my way home otherwise its just the highway and the next stop is my home. The problem is that my bike would stop only during my way home and never from home to office at the same signal. I did a lot of head scratching , went to SVC but could never replicate the issue. The bike would always start at the SVC / during leaving home / during leaving office but would just stop at the signal.
Did some experimenting recently , instead of taking the flyovers I went under one and stopped at a place during returning home. Same the bike wont start. Did not understand why this happens only at night.

Then I SWITCHED OFF THE HEADLIGHT and the self start worked

Now don't understand what to do. Should I replace my battery? . Help me guys.

get the battery checked otherwise I would recommend you to get the wireing checked some times just a small cut can turn into this problem my dio had a similar problem...

guys having some prblm wid my fz...after a ride when I park my bike some fuel watery or oil watery fluid drops from beneath the silencer...please help....

Once I faced a similar problem with my R15 & the culprit was Handle Switch (Right). New one cost Rs.350. Do check your bike's battery & wiring before replacing Handle Switch.

As a practise. I always turn off the HL when I switch off the bike. And I never start the bike with the HL turned ON. Good way of protecting your battery.
