today i asked the SVC for motul chain lube they told it was out of stock and will be available by next week
they suggested me the yamaha chain lube (Dry type- chain turns white after spraying)
he told that motul lasts for 4 or 5 lubes but the other lasts for 10 to 12
but the price difference is
motul 420
yamaha 1400

Can you explain? As per my discussion with Joel he said the increase in efficiency by 15% for FZ. Also can you explain the relation of jet size, air fuel ration with FFE? I'm planning to go for FFE hence asking.
Hi all,

Let me clear this doubt. Joel's FFE doesnot require upjetting or retuning of carb. It is a simple plug & play system and does not require any major tinkering to install it.

The power increase just by installing FFE alone according to my conversation with Joel will be around 10%-15% = 1.4+ bhp added to the stock 14 bhp generated by the engine. Plus, the new FFE weighs just under 1.5-2kgs compared to the 8kg+ stock FFE thus, the bike sheds more weight as well i.e. more power:weight ratio= improving the overall figures.

FFE alone will provide more linear tractable power throughout the rev range and one may notice increase in FE plus the beautiful roaring sound for which a lot of 'posers' are willing to saw off half of their stock exhaust.

Joel's FFE with the DB killer removed will sound like this:

i understand all this sounds complete 'gas talk' so let me provide you guys my ownership experience report first, its just a matter of 2 weeks.

cheers

sad to that bro... anyways.. for long storage... get the fuel tank completely empty and then remove the battery and then cover the bike to keep it protected from dust and water.

cheers

haven't figured that out yet but can't even ride a kilometre without feeling like my back's gonna break ...

But wouldn't emptying the fuel tank make it susceptible to rust ?

I'd suggest letting someone ride it once in a while than letting it die slowly.

1 thing is not clear to me. The tank of FZ is of 12 litres. Is this including reserve of 1.4 litre or 12 + reserve 1.4 litre?
