Hi All,

sorry haven't been able to be online... busy clocking kms on me bike and getting my life sorted out after a 3 month sabbatical from Mumbai's city life.

I haven't got my FFE from Joel yet as Joel was tied up with racing projects and also i haven't been able to follow up being busy acquiring newer projects. Shall keep you all posted.

Anyways, congrats to Sydney C and Duoscribe on being the first of the lot from this thread to go ahead with souping up their bikes courtesy Joel. I am sure post run in, you guys will be having a lot of fun. I would recommend though consider saving up for the FFE as the next stage of upgrade then both of you shall witness the real power gains as the stock pipe may be kinda restrictive to the extra exhaust gases generated... although i believe Joel might have already filled you guys with tons of info regarding the bike's potential and stuff with big bore .

Moving on, the current issue i am facing with my bike is courtesy Mumbai monsoons; The electric switches are kinda becoming hard and at times when i switch on the headlight, the lcd panel light sometimes doesn't come on. I then have to put the switch to off and then try again and then all is well hunky and dory. I guess a simple lubrication of the switch gears should do the job.

Besides the problem above, so far my bike is in prime condition. She is still returning a hefty and consistent 40 kmpl+ with a mix of sane and thrash riding. For some reason i feel it might have something to do with the carb clean up and the unconditional love i shower at her by keeping the chain lubed and maintaining servicing schedule to the dot . She fires up everytime at one go and Gears are butter smooth as always and i am happy to have her in my life...

I had recently done a trip to Lonavla and back along with my friends and i had the privilege of getting my hands on my friend's 2011 Ninja 250 R. more details on :Kawasaki Ninja 250R
for those who feel that Ninja is no match against CBR, please think again!! She is an absolute breeze riding through traffic and will put a million miles grin across your face when you hit the sweet spot of 6000 - 11000 rpm. The bike sounds like an i4 engine in that rev range and will turn everyone's head on the road. i was inundated with the most common questions: "kitne ka hain and kitna deti hain?" = how much is it for and whats the mileage?

I guess i better stop, going too much OT.

Cheers

Like GOOGLE,let WD40 be your friend.
Regular lubing keeps my ride rust free and squeaky-free switches.
