Dude.. seems they are using mineral oil for engine.Would advice you to go for Semi synthetic or synthetic... SS would cost around 400 INR....but keep engine in a good condition.

So how many kms done till now...if u have crosseed 5000 kms ...or anyway near it..would advice you to change the oil filter too....

The teflon coating thing... it is generally outsourced to some other person.after 6 months u need to contact the person whu did the coating directly. The service center will take no liability.See if that can be negotiated.Teflon coating is some where between 350- 550. Castro Bike Zone does it for Rs 350... same after 6 months another coating... but need to contact the person directly.
I enquired at pulsar service center. They are charging Rs 500 for teflon coating.Yami guys are always greedy!!! Even here they charge Rs 600

What happened to the earlier logos??

I completely agree. They should clean it for free. It is mentioned in the service leaflet. I too had a bad experience when I explicitly told them to clean the chain for my 3rd service. The dumbass supervisor (couldn't even understand the words in the manual) began to argue with me that I need to pay Rs. 100/- for the Chain cleaning.

His excuse: We use Motul chain clean and then lube. It will cost you.

What I didn't understand was that - The service center is required to complete all the items listed in the service instructions. It is mentioned in the manual to clean and lube the chain. Let them use whatever God Forsaken products to accomplish that. It should be free!!! Why the hell would they charge us for it.

If they want to charge us, they should probably supply new manuals with that item removed from them and a public apology for the mis-statement.
