And,, have any of you used a K&N on a FZ. If so what are specs and the model that fits an FZ and how has the performance been on the bike, and does using a K&N not only boost performance but does it help in the overall health of the engine and thus giving it longevity!?!?!

3) Chain cleaning - it's a complete bulls**t... they must do it free, coz ur in ur free service mode...
4) Logo price - quite natural if it's gone...

check 2nd and 3rd one... They are not correct
For my services...
first service - charged 220Rs/- changed engine oil and one oil for FZ(elements)(including tax)
Second & Third - 170Rs/-(changing oil and servicing including chain clean&lubing)
Forth - 415Rs/-(Engine oil change to yamalube semi synthetic)

what say guys???
Thx mate!..
I ve already paid the above... and have a bill for the same as well..
We are staying in different states.. can this be a reason for difference in prices?

I believe yes.. to add to the existing info.. i read the manual of Fazer.. the specification seemsto be almost same as of FZ (including engine).. in first look it looks like FZ with R15 fairing.. thats it.. and to be honest it didnot attract me too much.... if u like Naled look of the current FZ, i am sure u wud not like to have that fairing...

but as per ur question, there is no reason why Fazer fairing cannot be attached to FZ.

So how many kms done till now...if u have crosseed 5000 kms ...or anyway near it..would advice you to change the oil filter too....

The teflon coating thing... it is generally outsourced to some other person.after 6 months u need to contact the person whu did the coating directly. The service center will take no liability.See if that can be negotiated.Teflon coating is some where between 350- 550. Castro Bike Zone does it for Rs 350... same after 6 months another coating... but need to contact the person directly.
I enquired at pulsar service center. They are charging Rs 500 for teflon coating.Yami guys are always greedy!!! Even here they charge Rs 600

What happened to the earlier logos??
Thx mate!

I believe you are correct.. They initially quoted 750 bucs for 2 coats.. i said No straight away... and then after healthy bargain we settled for Rs 600. I even mentioned that bajaj guys do the same for 450-500 bucs but they chanted same old 'Quality' poems... anyways bike looks good after polosh and coating..

His excuse: We use Motul chain clean and then lube. It will cost you.

What I didn't understand was that - The service center is required to complete all the items listed in the service instructions. It is mentioned in the manual to clean and lube the chain. Let them use whatever God Forsaken products to accomplish that. It should be free!!! Why the hell would they charge us for it.

If they want to charge us, they should probably supply new manuals with that item removed from them and a public apology for the mis-statement.
Well said... Agreed!
