Nopes bro.......i looked at other fz's but there is no change.........even i heard about it but the sales guy there had no idea about it........also i paid 500 bucks for the leg guard which I think is a standard fit ment and not an accessory as told by the sales guy there....

I saw the FZ mudguard being fitted to some of the bikes when I went for my service on Saturday. It is almost the same length, just a bit thicker on the sides. Was wondering how it would help in the rains.
I think they are fitting it free, but I didn't ask them. They had a stock of about 100-200 mudguards though.

Here's my 100 km report what I liked what I don't and all the stuff........
(all compared to my CBZ Star) likes: Smooth and Refined engine love the muffled revs of it handling is a step up from my CBZ looks are drooling self start is improving with kms LCD Digital display mirrors are really good compact dimensions a boon in city riding headlight spread is good switchgear quality and buttons excellent engine kill switch flasher vibe free Dislikes I would like to ask Yamaha that is a leg guard a fashion statement kind of accessory or a standard fitment for safety?? And Why this horn which is embarrassing for me on such a good machine?? FE seems to be gud rite now but would surely report it... overall enjoying every bit of it and as suggested by my friends here once I take it above 4.5 k while rest its 4k for me and I vary speed too..... ![]() ![]() ![]() rest a small question its a really small one as I am confused whether to switch the bike off via key or engine kill switch?? any help........ |

Hi Guys,
Is Castrol Power 1 an ideal engine oil for the FZ 16. I recently replaced my engine oil (yamalube) with Power1. Seems to be working fine. It has a viscosity rating of 10W - 30. I think it is a bit less for our road conditions and temperatures. Most of the times, we top-up/refill with an oil of rating 20W-40. Any one had bad experiences with this oil? Please share them. Castrol Activ 4T seems to be ideally suited with respect to the rating. Comments welcome. Many Thanks, -Asim |
