please help me out guys

dude the small scraping sound is normal in all fzs...asked the mech and also seen earlier in this very thread.but in case the noise is loud not just a rustle of the calipers then may be you need to take it to the mechanic and get the distance between them increased or may even be caused due to the caliper being misaligned and requiring alignment.

Have u had a fall or a rather nasty pothole that you hit, these may be the reasons for your disc getting misaligned.

thanks for the info
regarding pot hole and fall , i had neither of it ..
its just the scraping sound but the problem is the disk gets heated after riding for 3 kms [without much braking]

i have seen this in the past that my disc too makes that noise but i learned to ignore it.It only is heard when i am at low speeds and with the engine cut off or not running at all. Please clarify on the frequency and the loudness of the noise to give us better prespective. As i mentioned it is comman to hear a rustling sound. If still worried get it checked out by the local Yamaha SVC.They might be lazy n irritating but they do know the bike better than most...

Default Mesh Seat Cover & NightBreaker

Got my bike fitted with these following things today.

Cool mesh seat Cover (Rs 1250) - Its really good one, Riding the bike with this cover almost feel like there is a fan inside the seat, worth having one. will be great of a long ride for sure. Would love if yamaha comes with more such invovative things.

OSRAM Nightbreaker 12v 60/55W H4 (Rs 850 - ebay.in with 20% disc coupon) - will check today night and let you know guys. High beam looks very powerful.

Thanks guys for helping me choose these things.

A few good points on that:
1.Engine seems smoother even after 65kmph.
2.Gear shifting is much better.
3.acceleration seems much better and quicker.
4.much better throttle response.

Dont know why but the bike has given a lot a confidence after the service than before.Took it out as soon as i got it back.the zip in it seems almost too good.(Touch wood...)

Have done 800kms and first service is over....had to give in after just 20 days due to the prblm. Can i let it rip???

It almost seems to be beggin me to push it now...cant resist much longer.Already crossed 70kmph today constantly....
By converter, do you mean the catalytic converter. Could you let us know the location of that?

Many Thanks.

when asked he pointed to the below of the tank on the right hand side...I was not there at that point in time when the actual removal or the fixing back of the converter took place...just was there during the cleaning act...ya sry was there thrgh the rest of the service but had to rush to the showroom to pick up my insurance that had come in from the insurance guys.....so sry for the lack of insight that i can provide in regards to that.....
