Any ideas what can be done to improve on this ??
I am re-trying to calculate the mileage (post 2nd service)
Bike has run approx 4K Kms

Fuel : 5L Speed to Reserve
Speed Maintained : 50-60 KMPH
KMs run : 222.6 KMs
Mileage comes out to be -> 44.52 KMPL

Now, I am trying to do the same thing with maintaining speed from 70-80 KMPH.

Tank Full to Tank Full is the most accurate way to calculate fuel efficiency.

Bharat Petroleum "normal" fuel seems to be doing the trick. i really dont know how many FZ owners opt for high octane. but i felt it quite a bit when used Speed and Power. no issues with the normal fuel from BP. these are the only guys i get fuel from. HP normal i think it will be ok. but then again. i am guessing it varies from one owner to another.

I use HP Power petrol and unleaded petrol from the same HP in 1:1 ratio for my fz16...
its going smooth! covered 630km till date... and 1wk more for the 1st service.

Thinking of getting a HID lamp fixed... is it going to void the warranty? will it drain the battery fast?

Question Rear Tyre air pressure in FZ-16????

Hello All Xbhpians,
I am a very new member of Xbhp ,
I can feel the warmth of Xbhp here ,
I recently owned Yamaha Fz-16,and i have a confusion Regarding rear Tyre air pressure,
when i got the bike from showroom, the rear tyre has 50 psi air,
but in owner's manual they mentioned it to be 33psi ,
which is very low (i think),
Right now i filled 40 psi there, but i am really confused with the recommended air pressure ....

please guide me to get the right air pressure for rear tyre...

Thanks and Regards....

Anjit....
