i have no idea about the differences wich arise in semi synth or fully synth....

btw the overheating you were talking about how can one actually know that the vehicle is overheating???

because from the past week my bike after around 8-10 kms starts smelling like something is burning in the engine.... is this because of the overheating??

dunno but ur problem sounds similar to mine
heating up very fast.
i measured the engine oil temperature after ridin 10kms at iym service centre and it read 87degree and he showed a book in which idle rpm engine oil temperature is 75-85degree so it might be normal

I prefer MOTUL!
yes there are three types of oils..Mineral,Semi Synthetic and Synthetic.
a simple google search will explain it to you but basically the more synthetic the better
but semi synthetic is enough for our bikes.you will overall have a smoother engine and gear shifts.

I am using Agip syntetico on my baby beast and am very happy with the performance. There is a noticeable increase in the overall smootheness of the bike. And there is a slight increase in mileage as well. Any other xbhpians using Agip please share your expeirences.
